We played into palace hand tonight. Build up too slow. To reluctant to play risky passes. Movement poor. Jacob Greaves takes too many touches. I get that maybe they wanted more pace at the back but Burgess offers far more in terms of distribution and Jacob could have done better with the goal. |

Great for Marcus to mention his passion for ju jitsu. My brother was a massive ju jitsu advocate both Japanese and Brazilian. He has a great picture with Marcus from last year at training. His interview makes me feel pretty emotional as my brother died at 53 on the day we won promotion vs Exeter. Every time I watch Marcus play, I think of James and how much he would be enjoying our current position. |

Complete agreement from me. Luongo has been outstanding his ability to break up play and regain possession in a few seconds when we lose it has been the difference. Today he might not have set up any or the goals in the first half but his performance in the first 20 minutes was outstanding. Broadhead gives us so much balance, he always is looking for a progressive pass and when he does not play we look far less effective. We need to get a deal organised for Luongo regardless of what happens as with him and Morsy in the team we are a competitive championship team and a completely different level in league one. |

Surely Lambert does not have a five year contract without performance clauses. I fear though that we may have to wait for him to go. The moment we can't make the playoffs I suspect he will have a year severance to go. Judging on today's display we won't have to long wait that long. |

Anyone who thinks lambert does not have performance clauses in his contract is clearly delusional. If we are not in the playoffs at the end of the season I suspect he will go with about a years severance pay. With the current injury situation I can't see any point sacking him now. Players win games not systems and we are a bit short in the player department at the moment. In the meantime we should try to support the young players rather than put them under more pressure |
