I’m lost for words.Where was the conviction today.The Boss says this was not a must win game well sorry but I disagree.Great manager but today I’m afraid he did not live up too expectations.If a team needed a lift it was today so who do we blame.We are now in a position where we have to rely on other teams.
I’m so disappointed and yes I didn’t expect us to rip this league up but I did expect better considering all the money spent.So we move on and pray we do better otherwise it’s a quick return to the championship.

The gulf between the side was massive and we struggled to get in the game but always showed how dangerous we are on the break but day it was never going to be.We are learning fast and we will improve I’m sure.Having said that my main concern is the defense.There seems to be very little understanding and the holding midfield are not performing to there ability.I was impressed with Townsend Hurst and Enciso.
Let’s not forget this is the league to play in and we are in it and doing ok.We the supporters we once again fantastic so well done lads.
Next week three points and we’re up and running once again.

I keep asking myself why do we have VAR when most decisions are just ridiculous or overturns by incompetent officials.The player should have got an immediate Red card and after investigation at least a ten match ban for serious foul play.I’m not asking for favours because you don’t get them in this league unless your one of the TOP THREE clubs.All we ask for is consistency from all officials.
Unfortunately I’m afraid this is long gone.

Defending was excellent apart from the soft goal conceded.We need to use this system now to get some points on the board.We restricted Arsenal to only a few serious shots and the keeper did ok.Shame in the second half we didn’t take the game to them as I felt at times Arsenal we’re running out of ideas and we’re sitting back a bit.
I would like to see both Broadhead and Chaplin start Monday as they have a great understanding.Omari looks a bit tired and could do with a rest although I’m sure he will relish mondays game.We must get a result from this match so come on lads you can do it.

Only one change from last week so yes it is worrying how easily Newcastle took us apart but let’s be honest they are a very good side hitting form at the right time.We are in a league of our own ie the bottom six and these are the teams we must beat to stand any chance of remaining in the premier league next season.The difference in class was very clear to see.We tried but unfortunately we are nowhere near good enough and unless we don’t strengthen the squad in January it’s going to be extremely difficult to I fear avoid the drop.I do worry how bad we are playing out from the back and the keepers distribution is woeful at times.I hate to criticize my players but I do feel it is time to think about a few changes and I’m sure we can all guess where.Enough said so move on to the next two games and fingers crossed luck be on our side.
