Palace Chairman Confirms Williams Loan

Cracking signing. Very exciting player who will look to beat players. This could be a huge coup, especially if Palace stay up!

Wordsworth May Miss Rest of the Season
at 15:21:56

Get well soon Woody, gutted to have happened so early into his debut.
However if we do stay up, Woody and Taylor will be like two new signings for us.
It could just be the catalyst to finally having a good start to a season!!

Town Confirm Academy Contract Offers
at 16:49:25

Really glad the "Ipswich Way" is starting to return. Low risk and high potential. Hopefully one or more of these boys can make the step up and prove to others that it can be done!

U21s Lose to Swans
at 18:48:57

Why are we playing Ellington if, let's be honest, he wont play for the club again.
Marriott is banging in the goals for the U18s, seems logical to include him in all U21 games as a natural progression.
Rhodes scored a silly amount of goals for our reserves so if Marriott or another youngster continues to do it for our U21s it can only be a good thing, surely?!

Town Topic: Who Next for Town?
at 13:56:41

I would only employ Curbishley if he had Holland as his number 2! We need a manager who will carry on the traditions of the club (not the recent traditions Keane butchered into us!)

I would like someone younger with experience in the lower leagues to bring a bit of a fresh approach to the club. This year (like the previous 4) is now about building a squad, philosophy and stability for Ipswich to challenge for the play-offs in the next couple of years. We have to be realistic here!!

Hyam Signs New Deal

The future, the type of player everyone was screaming out for us to buy. Show faith in youth Jewell, they are what makes Ipswich so special!

Put a Question to the Town Boss
at 18:37:19

What are your plans come the end of the season? Will we do away with loans and focus on players who are in for the long haul? Are you focusing on youth or will you still persevere with premiership experience?

Jewell: The Longer the Run, The Greater the Pressure
at 21:42:12

People make mistakes, managers definitely do and PJ has for sure!
But we can't turn into a club that sacks managers before they've had at least 2 seasons in the job. PJ now knows how important youth and excitement is to us, realises the older guys haven't done it so now can concentrate on the development of Carson, Whight, Lawrence, Marriot, hopefully Hyam and bring in the players with the calibre of Cresswell who can learn from the older guys who still want to put the shirt on.

Trust PJ through thick and thin and back him to turn this mess he hasn't fully created around. COYB

Clegg: Playford Road a Different Place Under Paul Jewell
at 07:37:38

Very easy to talk about the younger players, but when will they be given a chance when we continue to add loan squad players rather than those who will benefit the first X1 AND the younger players development?

Still think we need to stick by PJ as he did inherit a mess, but he needs to realise the core values of the club and the importance of playing the right way

Submit Questions for Jewell and Clegg
at 20:05:58

PJ What is your view on the younger players in the club who haven't broken into the first team? Will players like Luke Hyam, Josh Carson, Joe Whight and even Byron Lawrence get a chance in the first team or is your main focus replacing them with older, more experienced players?

Defensive Duo Doubts
at 19:34:12

Great to see Whight in the squad, hope he is given a chance with Cresswell suspended, picking Kennedy would give no pace throughout the side!
