He was quality for watford, their fans loved him, they didn't want him to leave!!
Let's hope he can get back in form after being managed awfully badly by Keane.

Ian 'Charlie' McParland - The Man, The Myth, The Legend
Sad to see you leave after last night, but way top go out on a high! Your players not only played for their position, but for their fans, each other, and, most importantly, for you. A wonderful sight to see such passionate play from the boys in blue. You got the whole team attacking as one, defending as one, and supporting any teammate that got themselves into trouble.
We'll miss you, Charlie, but we'll always remember you.

11 players all out on the pitch, playing for one another, attacking for one another, defending for one another, supporting one another.
One of the most beautiful sights in football, and I'm glad that in my 16 years on this planet, our Ipswich Town are the only team I've seen accomplish that.

On another note, I will be sad to see Charlie go should Jewell decide to let him. He did us proud tonight, and got his tactics spot on.
