I find it hard to read most post on here. Having watched the game on Tuesday night this was with out doubt the best performance I have seen since we were in the prem all those years ago.
We just need to add cover to the CB and another striker and we should be looking for a top 6 position. Paul Jewell has taken stick for buy dads army players then we go with youth and he still gets hammered for it. I for one and happy we have a decent team who all can pull in one direction. Who all look to get the ball down and play.

How stupid can people be on here, Jamie peters has been the worst player to have ever put an ipswich town top on. He can not control a ball defend pass shoot cross or beat a player. Bar this ya jamie peters is a top player.

We wonder why we are a low table team in the championship over the last 3 to 4 years with players of this standard in the squard.

matt_the_blue what game where you watching i belive a cross is when an attacking player puts the ball in to the 6 yard box or even in the 18 yard box for a forward to head or to attack the ball. steads goal was from outside the box so peters part was a pass, check your eyes or go to spec savers mate. i bet if anyone who goes to watch a ips game count how many time a cross from a wide area goes past the 1st defender and into an area for the strikers to attack the ball i bet it won't happen more then 2 or 3 times a game.

I agree with uefa 81 on some points i ve been to watch sats win and tues draw, now for tues game how can you play a team who are that poor and still want to come back and watch it. It was a terrable game to have to sit and watch and if any true blue supporter can say anything postive about this performence then sorry you are brain dead. Sat good result againts a very poor defending team they made the ips front line look like 100 m chamipons and for the finishing well if we can score 1 in 12 chances then ya we might win a game or two. can people please explain why peters is playing he is a wide player who cant beat a player and cant cross for anything so is unable to create anything for the team im sure there must be a better player in the sunday morning league we could pick up. Im a big fan of supporting the team through thick and thin but have any of you people seen the league we are just out of the bottom 3 of the championship the championship after 21 games if you look back at jim joe royle or george burley they had no where near the money and done a much better job.
