Hello all, Sunderland fan in peace.

Grant, if he comes, will be a cracking signing for you.

A decent enough player who has just dropped down the pecking order at SAFC with our signings of Cana and Cattermole. No disrespect to ITFC or the Championship, but I'll be very surprised if he doesn't interest the likes of Hull, Wolves or Wigan.

Forget the daft Paul Scholes comparisons - he's nowhere near that level and never will be. What you will get however, is a very professional and honest grafter who probably lacks the pace and that x factor to be a real top quality midfielder. He has got a decent shot on him mind, and he's definitely capable of weighing in with a few goals.

Good luck for the rest of the season and especially good luck with Royston - it'll certainly be exciting - while it lasts. ;-)
