 | News Comment | Released Academy Midfielder Towler Joins Canaries at 16:26:12
Massive club - having a laugh!! Trophy cabinet = small cupboard with 1 bottle of milk in it. No stars on their kit. Sold Broja - Sargent on way - could be in trouble in Championship next season. |
 | News Comment | Head of Operations Carpenter Joins Birmingham at 22:24:00
It just shows the great people working behind the scenes at ITFC. The rise of ITFC has alerted others! It is a huge compliment to how ITFC is run. But like players, they will be replaced and it gives the new people to move the club forwards. The Club is bigger than individuals. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We Were at Full Stretch Even Before Red Card at 22:14:15
So many on here have had unrealistic expectations for this season. Not sure the comments I’ve read on this post can actually be ITFC fans! So difficult to stay up with successive promotions as needed more time to build squad quality. These players have done well but we need to go down to build again and then strengthen again for the next promotion. KMcK is absolutely the man for now and the foreseeable future. I firmly believe our squad will be right up there in the champ next season. Support the Town up or down and positively please! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Three Really, Really Bad Goals Before Half-Time at 22:43:13
Why do so many fans expect us to stay up this season? So many fans on here have unrealistic expectations.17th was the best we could do due to the double promotion. We need more time to build the team. The team need our support yet so many seem to think KMcK should now go. You should give your head a wobble! The whole club is learning - so fast - what it needs to compete in the PL. We are currently ahead of the curve set by the club for promotion. We have unfortunately come up short this season but we have improved through the season. We will go down, be in a very strong position next season, and come back stronger with a more cohesive team who have grown together from this season into next. It would be good to not hear negativity in the stadium though - appreciate we all have views and can express them - but IMO negativity should be left for outside PR - support the Town up or down!! COYB!! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Hutchinson Injury Significant But Not Serious at 16:07:15
It was a hideous challenge and a deserved red card. Says a lot for his attitude that he wanted to carry on. Hope he won't be out too long. @ITFCSG - you have missed the point completely. It will benefit Enciso for his career if his English improves. As a thought watch the Joe Hart interview where he talks about playing abroad and not speaking the language - that's how non-English speakers feel when they live in our country!! As usual Kieran is thinking of player welfare and not I suggest as you have said. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-4 Tottenham Hotspur - Highlights at 13:33:28
What rubbish highlights! What about the 1st 5 minutes? Don’t reflect the game at all - the result flattered Spurs greatly IMO. Like all other preset PL agendas, ITFC being treated very harshly on highlights now! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: A Devastated Dressing Room at 18:31:19
Really level headed KMcK response. I really saw positives today. We were excellent all over the pitch. Muric made some excellent saves before their goals - commanded his area. Nobody comments on those - just when we let a goal in. From my viewpoint (SAR upper) he did what he thought right - their attacker had a yard on our defenders and was through on goal. We need to keep believing in the journey - the team give their all every week. If it’s not to be this season we just go again next. Uppa Towen - up or down! Look where we were 3 seasons ago - don’t forget that. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We've Given Away a Pretty Soft Goal From Our Point of View at 19:49:21
Linkboy13 that’s such a poor assessment of the team. Not what I’ve seen in all the games I’ve watched this season. Are you just trying to bait other fans? We are doing great things this season - results will improve and we need to BACK the team. Such negativity not required on this forum. |
 | News Comment | Trialist on Bench as Blues Host Nice at 13:01:50
There’s no need to panic. Our season starts effectively on 31st v Fulham. No one expects anything from first 2 games. 3 weeks left in transfer window. It’s obviously harder to sign players we want in PL (Szmodics!!). We have to trust the process. MA & KMcK have not let us down for past 2 seasons. Sure they are doing their best this time around as well. Did anyone really think last season would start so well? Keep the faith. Uppa Towen!! |
 | News Comment | Liverpool and Manchester City Up First For Town at 19:16:15
Phil, do we play any of the teams in the CL after they have played a match in midweek? Or europa league? That may affect them but also the KO day and time, especially if they are playing on a Thursday! |
 | News Comment | Martin: We Were the Best Team, We Didn't Deserve to Lose at 23:01:14
Wow! Better team 1st half but not 2nd. Town hunted them down all over the pitch from the start of the 2nd half. He’s a very bitter man. Also deluded if they were brilliant 2nd half. Perhaps he is jealous that we have just doubled them!! Does he like Murphy’s?? Uppa Towen!! |
 | News Comment | Oxford Closing in On Edwards Loan Signing at 10:48:57
Leaving on loan seems a good option. Assess how he does this season and then go from there, as he is out of contract from next summer anyway. Think Freddie might go if we can get another forward in the Hirst mould, but don't want to see Baggott or Humphreys out on loan. Both are capable of playing in our team but I realise it's a difficult job picking even our matchday subs! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: I'm Not Thinking About Points Totals Or Positions at 17:54:46
Oh he speaks so well. Nothing over the top. Feet on the ground. Let others do the hype. This is going to be such an exciting season. With the team playing as it can, Chappers and Broadhead creating havoc, I really think our style of play is going to make waves and surprise teams. Uppa Towen!! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Walton Out For a Few Months at 16:30:34
Think Hladky will be absolutely fine. He's a good shot stopper and good with his feet so will fit in nicely with playing out from the back, plus his longer range distribution. Hope Walton makes a full recovery - a nasty injury to recover from. |
 | News Comment | Pigott Set For Permanent Orient Switch at 10:41:30
Good luck Joe. Arrived with great potential. Never really got a chance under the confused Cook reign when we had no real plan or organisation. That meant that he wasn't in KMcK's plans when he could have blossomed as always has goals in him. Good luck to him for the future. Bet he scores a hatful with El Miz providing the through balls! |
