This is amazing news - Clarke would be an amazing addition and a centre-back is essential. I'd happily allow Edmundson to move on - Woolfy is much calmer on the ball and would be good cover.
You've got to love the ambition: Muric, Johnson, Hutchinson, Philips, Cajuste, Szmodics, Greaves, Delap and now Clarke and CB. Lastly, McKenna!

We know that the season is a long one and we have already picked up (another) injury for Burns. As such, this is a vital signing and risks are low as a loan. I think he has the potential of being a real handful alongside Delap (who makes me laugh by bundling into any defender he gets near). A great signing - now for a central defender! |

Goodness! That's really good news if it happens. You don't become a bad player overnight and the combination of him and Morsy with Taylor and Luongo is a fabulous one.

I agree that we only want players who are committed to Town. I do have some reservations about another right sided player when we already have Burns and Omari. Is it not the left where we need some bolstering. We may get Sarmiento for the season which would be good but we can't take players unless they are fully committed to us. |
