FullerFlavour no I had absolutely no idea we had made any signings. Be real. And it’s not really 6 as Jens was here last season and Button doesn’t count. I’m talking about the numerous players we have been (apparently chasing / bidding for) in the last fortnight while others sign players fairly readily it seems. Frustrating is it not ? We’ve lost a lot of match day squad regulars from last seasons premier league group and only brought in a few who could make a genuine impact. I’m worried that we might make poor decisions late in the window when MA told us that we would do business early. |

Another of our divisional rivals make a signing while we sign nobody. I’m sure there is lots of work going on to get players in but all we seem to do is miss out on targets and we desperately need more depth and quality. KMc thought this guy was premier league level just a few months ago (he was clearly wrong from what we saw) and I’m not saying he is what we need but why is it that we are struggling so much to make signings ? If we wait until the last few days of the window we will panic and overpay for players we don’t necessarily want. Look at last year when we got Jack Clarke at the last minute and how dreadful he has been since he arrived. Come on MA get the deals over the line please |

It’s clear what I meant but if we are using your yardstick we’ve actually lost 12 players from last years SQUAD but I didn’t think including the likes of Slicker or Harness was correct just like I don’t include the signing of Button to count. Both you and blues1 need to wake up. We’ve lost crucial members of the usual match day 18 (hope this makes it clear for you) and not got adequate replacements. If you honestly think we look like a title challenger right now you’re delusional Tuesday proved that. |

We better have big signings coming in who can have an immediate impact on the starting Xi Mr Ashton otherwise you have a lot to answer for. Considering we “had no need to sell” apart from Delap release clause we have lost 9 players from last years squad and got 3 in do we are woefully short and Tuesday proved how bad our 2nd XI is. If this deal goes through which seems likely then MA & KMc have ZERO excuses if we don’t spend a lot of money in the next 2 weeks. Unless their hands are tied by the increasingly silent Americans ???? |
