 | News Comment | Lambert: We Should Have Been a Couple Up After Excellent First Half at 12:58:21
Simple really, we cannot score goals, is it the quality of the players, is it mis management, or is it an owner who will not support the club financially when he should be, probably all three, I am fast losing confidence and interest too, we are an embarrassingly poor football club at the moment, Mr Lambert it is not much good playing well if we do not have quality up front. |
 | News Comment | Lambert: We Lost to the Better Team at 11:28:08
Less of the bull Paul Lambert, you know what the problem is, we cannot score goals from open play, free kicks, or corners, well not nearly enough anyway, Holy and Norwood have to start, I am bitterly disappointed with the owner for keeping his money in his pocket during January, I am equally disappointed that you Mr Lambert tried to justify him not bringing in some quality players, if the current standards continue then we will not be promoted this season and a lot of those several thousand supporters who left the stadium at 4-0 will think seriously about renewing their season cards, the writing is on the wall. |
 | News Comment | Lambert: We Were Comfortable, We Should Have Done Better With the Equaliser at 12:10:27
Every Season, every Manager, it's always the same, that we do not attack in the final minutes of a game when we are holding onto a slender one goal lead, we always try to shut up shop and you just know that the opposition are going to score, it's obvious that they are going to try and do that and I appreciate that defending resolutely in that time is also most important, however, I think we would have won if we'd been a bit braver at that point and got the ball away from our area. |
 | News Comment | Judge: Welfare of My Family is Number One at 11:05:37
You were always a good player, now we know also that you are a good caring Father too, God bless your Daughter Alan, my family all wish her well and hope that she is fully recovered very soon, I'm sure everyone at the club feels the same way. |
 | News Comment | Norwood Set for Wrestling Debut at 11:54:20
Surely the club won't allow this, what a way to get a good football player injured ? perhaps he should simply donate some money to the charity instead. |
 | News Comment | Keane Rejoins Town at 14:53:59
He gives 100%, that could be why he has been injured, I am very pleased with this signing and hope that he is fit again very soon. |
 | News Comment | Mayor Joins Plymouth at 15:42:25
He couldn't have been over impressed with the deal offered by us. |
 | News Comment | Season Ticket Total Just Misses 12,000 Mark at 11:53:09
It would be a correct and well received gesture for the club to waive the difference and be generous, especially to those of us who have had season tickets for years. |
 | News Comment | Lambert: A Brilliant Win at 10:11:48
The best I have seen from Nsiala he was excellent, I agree it will be a pity to lose Quaner, he had a good game too and he seems very settled at Ipswich now. |
 | News Comment | Lambert: Wait and See What Happens at the End of the Season at 09:49:32
I can appreciate and understand why Paul feels like this, the lads never looked much like scoring and we all went home feeling gloomy, however I hope that he reads this, because he is the main reason that myself and my family are looking forward to relegation, if he stays then we shall continue to buy our season tickets, I have great faith in Paul, he will need to sign a couple of more capable strikers and Mr Evans must show his commitment by making the necessary finance for Paul, we cannot lose Paul Lambert. |
 | News Comment | Wigan Athletic 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 14:16:58
I was proud of our team today, however although we are now starting to play creative attacking football, we still do not pose any significant goal threat, Mr Evans surely must understand that this is down to him and Paul Hurst, we need people like Garner, Waghorn Mc'Goldrick and of course Murphy, all the family silver sold off and not sufficiently replaced, Paul Lambert is doing a great job but is having to work with youngsters and unfit loan players, albeit that they are are giving 100% however it is plain for all to see that we lack real quality at the sharp end and that will be our downfall I suspect. |
 | News Comment | Lambert: We Were Relentless in the Second Half at 10:26:01
I am fully satisfied with Paul Lambert, I'm certain that he will achieve eventually for our club, however I cannot watch a single game without feeling immensely disappointed in Mr Evans for not replacing three departing goal scorers with three with similar quality and potential in the Summer recess, whatever must he and Paul Hurst been thinking about, it somehow beggars belief for me, I am impressed with the attacking football we are now producing and it is a joy to watch Teddy Bishop running with the ball, I am not sure about Quaner, he has a strong presence but lacks speed and the necessary skills in my opinion, it is early days so maybe he has a lot more to offer. |
 | News Comment | Lambert Hits Back at Farke's Staff 'Lack of Class' Claim at 09:57:38
Before the start of that game I had a lot of respect for Norwich City and how they are playing this season, however it appeared to me that their players were deliberately trying to wind ours up and were attempting to deceive the Referee to give fouls and cards against our players throughout the game, I did not expect us to win, however we played better than them at times, I was very disappointed to hear Norwich fans chanting disrespectfully towards Paul Lambert, they indeed must have very short memories, I was disgusted with their manager when he smiled and winked as Paul Lambert was getting red carded, that was really disrespectful and sly, I personally feel that this was a tactical game plan throughout to deliberately antagonize our players, our staff and our supporters, I am satisfied that Norwich deserved their win, we all should have expected that, but I am very disappointed with Norwich City FC if this is what they are resorting to. |
 | News Comment | Lambert: We Defended Fantastically at 13:31:09
Wonderful words from Paul Lambert, I think he is a fantastic Manager, such a pity he wasn't with us in the Summer, I was thrilled with the win yesterday and generally very pleased with the new signings, James Collins is a superb defender with a great football brain, he alone will make a big difference for us I'm sure. |
 | News Comment | Hurst: I Don't Think the Group as a Whole Bought into What We Were Trying to Do at 15:50:25
We've moved on, I'm certain that Paul Hurst would have done his best, obviously great mistakes were made between him and Mr Evans re: transfers in and out, however I wish him good luck and certainly do not like to read unnecessary cruel comments, I am really pleased with Paul Lambert and confident that he will give us 100% three points tomorrow I think. |
