 | News Comment | Emery: A Fair Result at 10:23:00
Very fair. I actually think we deserved to win but gifted them goals, which we need to stop. But we created a lot of decent chances. Sam was lucky on one hand but the ref had no idea what was a yellow and what wasnt in that game. He may have realised the first one wasnt a yellow and he didnt book Rogers for persisitent fouling so let him off |
 | News Comment | Eustace: I Think We've Been Hard Done By at 10:08:19
Luck comes and goes in football. As above both Norwich and Preston we were undone by bad decisions. Today we were maybe a little fortunate with the Szmodics one as he wasn’t blocking Hladkys view really. But the other two were correct decisions and yes we should have had a blatant penalty. It wasn’t our finest game but the points are more important than anything else at this stage |

I don't disagree at all, the goals we concede are sloppy but for the amount of chances we create, the ratio of goals scored is low. We do a score a decent amount but in terms of chances taken it's a very low conversion. A decent striker should hopefully bag a few more but it certainly isnt the only solution as you say! |

Thanks Europablue, appreciate the comment! Completely agree with you on that one, lots more positives than negatives this season, it definitely feels like it will be our season. Beating Derby is massive, its a game we would have lost last season for sure. We keep churning out good performances and wins |

Yeah its tough to get kits at the moment. I managed to get the third kit yesterday but had to queue online for a while first... hope you manage to get one |

My view on the penalty was the angle of Morsy's body after he clears it. It probably was soft though, not denying that. Ultimately it left the referee a decision and it was always likely to against us. The main thing is it didnt cost us the three points - thats all that matters at the end of the day |

Thanks for your view Saxon - and appreciate you acknowledging that differing opinions are allowed in football, because some people don't! My view on it being the worst performance this season was based on us not deserving to win (but not deserving to lose either) whereas I think we have deserved maximum in all other games so far. It was worst against a bar that had been set pretty high so it still wasn't a bad performance. |

Thanks - always try and keep it positive where possible. There isn't much to criticize at the minute, which makes it easier!! Sounds interesting - if we can average 2 points a game over the season then that is promotion form |

Well said suttonexile. I am hoping it was just because it was the first game and it will improve but certainly wasnt up to standard |
 | News Comment | Town Complete Carroll Signing at 15:32:38
Very excited about this one, healthy competition for places as Evans and Harper cant play every game and this is definitely better quality than we have. The squad has come together maybe needing one more CB - just need them to gel as quickly as possible and truly believe we will fly high |
 | News Comment | Speculation on Town's Available Players Gets Under Way at 11:04:13
I am all for a big change in squad, but i think some of these are a bit too far, you cannot completely change every player as it will take ages to gel a whole new squad and you need some existing players to grow. I personally would keep Norwood, Downes, Dozzell, Bish, Woolfy, Dobra and hopefully Edwards. They all have the ability and part to play and if they have some quality fresh faces brought in to help then they will do it. They have all shown they have the ability at this level it is juts about consistency. |
 | News Comment | EFL Confirm Switch to Five Subs at 13:42:10
I tend to stay away from Lambert-bashing on here, but he says he is for this yet he tends to make only one sub in the 87th minute in a lot of games . I don't disagree with five subs but I very much doubt we will use the three we had anyway |
 | News Comment | Evans: Town Knew They Had a Battering, the Best Side Lost at 10:04:47
This guy truly is a pillock. As for his comments regarding the referee, that was the best performance from one we had so far last night. They are generally rubbish in this league but i don't think he did a lot wrong last night |
 | News Comment | Lambert: We've Got to Be Better Without the Ball at 09:32:41
I don't think rash changes should be made, but I have to disagree that Nsiala should keep his place. He cannot pass out from the back, and if that's the style we want to play then Woolfy or McGuiness much better suited. Bennetts in for Judge and Woolfy in for Nsiala and leave the rest as it is, unless Ward is fit then him in for Kenlock. Kenlock hasn't done badly, but we looked a lot more robust with Stephen Ward at the back. People have their opinions of chambers but with him and ward we will essentially stop all wing play |
 | News Comment | Lambert: Good Point But We Should Have Had a Penalty at 09:23:36
Agreed that performances have been better, and given the conditions and amount of goals Oxford score, last night wasn't a bad result, but to say we are on a run of form when our last five games reads LDLWD isn't exactly selling that |
