 | News Comment | Hurst Aiming to Surprise Doubters at Leeds at 16:05:46
Still think Hurst deserves time, getting rid of him and abandoning the project is way too rash. He has made mistakes but this is a long term project, years not months and it may get worst before it gets better. |
 | News Comment | Hurst: Even the Most Boring Win Would Put a Smile on My Face at 08:31:15
@tractorboy85 That's only 3 team. One of whom, Portsmouth are top of League One, only 2 places below us. They have momentum and will probably have a good run in the Championship next season. Bring on League One! I just want some excitement in my life and I'm sick and tired of the perennial struggle/mid table mediocrity. |

So what if we go down? Will the world end? no, we might actually win again and have a successful season. Sometimes you need to step back to move forward. In the 16 seasons we've been in the Championship, all these teams have come through League One and subsequently played in the Premier League - Wigan Athletic Cardiff City QPR Brighton Hove Albion (twice) Hull City Blackpool Swansea City Leicester City (AND BECAME PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!) Norwich City (twice) Southampton Huddersfield Town Bournemouth Wolves People who think League One is necessarily a bad thing need a reality check. We are a big enough club with a big enough fan base to bounce back and succeed stronger than now. |

We need to chill out a bit and give this man time till Christmas at least and see where we are then. There has been so many changes (yes, maybe his doing) so its going to take time. I'm by no means happy how things are going and would prefer to see a lot more academy players in the team and sticking to a system (4-2-3-1) but this is where we are right now. This over Mick and another boring 16 years in Championship anytime. |
 | News Comment | Woolfenden Enjoying Pre-Season Opportunity at 09:20:36
Couldn't be more impressed when I saw him for the first time at MK Dons. As I said to Blue Monday Podcast guys, looked totally in his depth and a ready for first team football. He was big, strong and composed, great prospect. |
 | News Comment | Wilder: Waghorn Valuation Too Steep for Blades at 08:40:47
£8m is great business in my opinion, we need to be realistic where we are and even if half the money could be invested in a number of young hungry progressive players that's better in the long run. Up the Town. |
 | News Comment | Town Among Clubs Linked With Accrington Striker at 22:05:09
Sorry but not for me. Looking at career he's never set the world alight at some pretty low level teams. I know its no guarantee and maybe hes a late developer but £1m could be spent far better. See stats below - 2013—2014 Swindon Town 0 (0) 2013 → Swindon Supermarine (loan) 10 (6) 2013—2014 → Oxford City (loan) 23 (8) 2014—2015 Tamworth 36 (8) 2015—2016 Wrexham 36 (4) 2016—2017 Barnsley 0 (0) 2016—2017 → Grimsby Town (loan) 20 (1) 2017— Accrington Stanley 44 (16) |

People need to chill the out hell, wow. It's the second pre-season friendly, hardly really anything more than a training, test phase for a new manager to assess. All this worry about the new season already. The World Cup hasn't even finished and the new season is well over three weeks ago, plenty of time to be ready. Please don't seriously question the new manager. |
 | News Comment | Knight Turned Down Spurs to Join City at 11:22:10
It is frustrating but it doesn't just happen to the the small clubs. Barcelona lose a lot of their young players, Pogba left Manchester United. If a player has an offer and wants to go, he can. Ultimately we just need to keep being the best we can, play the youngsters, give them a chance and show the current crop of kids they are better off staying here playing first team football. |
 | News Comment | Town Targeting Chelsea's Chalobah at 15:50:04
@dariusblue, following that link, old Town boy Charlie Brown is on there. "Following his move south, " I love how Chelsea consider a move from Ipswich to London moving south, like its a million miles away. |

Met on the first academy cycle ride to Amsterdam, one of the nicest men I've ever met. Wish him all the best! True football gentleman. |
 | News Comment | Town Launch New Kits at 08:53:20
Kits actually look quite decent, baring the sponsor. Home - Would have preferred less red on the home (white stripes on the shirt, blue stripes on the shorts, white on the socks) would have looked far better. Away - One of the nicest we have had in a while, really like the shirt detail. |
 | News Comment | Town Extend Adidas Deal for Four Years at 08:17:50
https://www.footballkitnews.com/category/international-team-kits/ You can guarantee the shirt will be the same as the the Adidas World Cup shirts coming out. Check out the Morocco and the Iran shirt for example, other than the collar just the same boring shirt. I just think we deserve a little better. Unless you're a big boy and almost commission Adidas to do something special for you, it's just templates. It's the training stuff that gets me...literally Adidas training gear, with an Ipswich badge printed on...not even stitched, printed and some even wonky. Can clearly see I'm a minority on this. |
