I keep reading all these comments about a bad deal for Delap only a 30 million release clause
I am sure this time last year no one would have thought 30 million would be a bad deal for the club
At the time of signing any player decisions need to be made to make the deal work for all parties.
Mark Ashton has done a great job for our club cut him some slack.
For all the fortune tellers (Benny Spellman) that saw this coming can we have some winning lottery numbers please 🙏
In all seriousness we still don’t know the true deal
Leave it with those who have moved our club on in many ways in recent years to generate the most talked about transfer in the league

With many tickets still available will they be put on general sale as he is not a member but a fan.

If you are any of the fanbase that I read on here that think this is the lowest point in the club’s history in the past 20 years and want to give me your seat after supporting the club through the highs and lows of the past 45 years then just message me.

There are many thousands like me that would like to attend a game and support the massive improvement of the management team and players from just a few years ago.

The result today will hurt and maybe there will be other games where we will come up short against much better opponents.
However our club has been on a terrific journey in recent years.

We are still growing as a team and only time will tell if we can survive in this league this season.

But compared to where we have been in the past 20 years I will take a few setbacks and look forward being positive about the club.

I think you are a little bit out of order with your comments
I don’t live in the area and for the past 45 years manage around 6 games a season
Over the years didn’t mind being with the other 11000 when playing Walsall and other clubs when we were very much in decline.
I was at the Watford game at the end of last season and both seats next to me were Arsenal supporters but through a friend of a friend found tickets
Are they more entitled to the games this season when clearly we are not their first club or supporters like me that have supported our club over many decades and most of that time we have not been great to watch
Equally I don’t need someone like yourself to question my loyalty.
