 | News Comment | Greaves: Delighted Hull Stayed Up, I'm Excited to Go Back at 12:04:56
@SamWhiteUK Hull sacked Rosenior at the end of last season, who probably overachieved to get that team near the playoffs, and who now has Strasbourg in the European places in Ligue 1. Couple that with losing some of their best players it's not a shock they ended down the table. |
 | News Comment | Football May Have Been a Factor in Whymark's Death at 19:48:35
As medical technology gets better there will likely be more and more links between careers of footballs who head the ball, and late age brain deterioration. FIFA/UEFA/the FA's etc have buried their head in the sand for a long time with regard to taking head injuries seriously; only recently did we get any kind of mandatory concussion checks. We already ban heading the ball at youth levels, but there needs to be much better education for young pros on the dangers of consistent head impacts and the link to CTE and other brain damage. Heading won't (and shouldn't) be banned in pro football, but don't be surprised to see the conversation take place more frequently within the next decade. |

Not had a good amount of game time since League 2 with Wimbledon, hopefully he can show he belongs at the higher levels with some game time, his attitude is there for sure. |
 | News Comment | Town Issue Statement on Morsy Armband Stance at 18:21:35
He never had an issue wearing gambling sponsors that his religion is against. Islam has a very public opinion on gay people, and publicly supporting that is worth criticism. Being gay is not a choice, but religion is; the rainbow laces campaign is there to support the inclusion of people who are discriminated against in this sport, which is rampant despite what people might think. Love our Egyptian King, but he deserves the criticism he'll get for this. |
 | News Comment | Town Working on Deal to Sign Burnley Keeper at 14:19:09
A very good keeper who absolutely should not have been benched for Trafford in the prem last season, sensible Burnley fans would be gutted to see him go, especially for that price |
 | News Comment | Premier League Clubs Vote to Continue VAR at 16:25:20
The right decision. The main issue is the refs not VAR, automated offside will help speed it up, and they can only improve on everything else from here. If a workman is struggling, you don't take away his tools. |
