Is there anyone that can get me into contact with someone at the Ipswich Town Heritage Society? I am really interested in volunteering if possible, but through the club or the email addresses I can find online of the Heritage Society I can't find any individuals that can help me. A couple of weeks ago I posted on the forum that I was going to do an academic study on Ipswich Town. I´m now quite far in my research, but I still need some help.
I´m looking for people who grew up in Suffolk and have been Ipswich Town fans for life. I am a postgraduate student in Museum and Heritage Studies. I always try to get as much football in my essays as possible, because it is a very underappreciated topic in academic writing. This essay I am going to write will be about football clubs as a sort of guardian of heritage. So the first step in this is to get a good view of what that heritage actually is.
The plan is to focus on other clubs in the southeast as well (for instance reasons why Ipswich Town are massive in this region and Colchester United is not, even though the cities are of similar size) and conclude what kind of role heritage has in the attraction of fans.
By the way, I am an Ipswich Town season ticket holder and just moved to England this October. I know the basics of the history but still want to dive deep in history books about the club, so all recommendations are much appreciated and thanks to everyone who has given me some tips! |

Hi everyone,
As a Dutch season ticket holder a friend of mine from back home wants to come along for the Norwich game. I have got a membership to buy a ticket in the presale, but the non-season ticket holders would get the chance first to buy a ticket. Would it be sold out when the non-season ticket holders can go first? Doesn't matter for which stand the ticket is, he just wants to get in the stadium. |

Thanks for the replies! I will ring the ticket office and ask what the options are. If it's possible for the club to gift out a temporary card for these few matches, I will post again on the forum and look for anyone who might be interested. |

Thought that would be the case. Not a problem, just a shame that there will be an empty seat first few matches.
Have not seen much footage of players from the past at Ipswich, but based on just reading about the history I'm going for Pablo. Have seen Martijn Reuser in action at the end of his career at NAC Breda :)
And Gouda of course, it's not even close.  |

Hi everyone, not sure if this is the way to ask things like this but will give it a go. I'm from the Netherlands and will study in Colchester after the summer. I bought a season ticket, but I won't be in England until the end of september. Is there any way I can sell my ticket for the home games in august and september via the ITFC website? |
