Am I missing something here. Appreciate the club probably needed to suspend James initially while the club and FA investigated the issue, however he has now been giving a suspended ban, therefore is not prohibited from working. Hoping he has another opportunity lined up already, and his decision to leave the club. Hoped the club would’ve otherwise support/rehabilitate etc as a minor offence. The likes of Ivan Toney (huge assets to their clubs) are supported. A great servant to the club. All the best James Pullen. |

Firstly we can’t begrudge KMac’s decision should the Man Utd job be offered to him. Once in a lifetime stuff - a Man Utd fan from childhood etc etc.
I then think wouldn’t it be amazing if he does stay with us for at least one more season, he’d have even more respect from us. The factor to keep us in the prem.
My fear is that if he does move on, we are already well into prep time for the new season, planning for new players etc. Recruiting a new manager, the right manager, might take time and would impact the start of the season. We need to hit the ground running in August.
Having said all that, in McKenna we trust, and Ashton and the board we trust. I sense there’s a well thought out plan for all scenarios.

Ultimately you need to experience the lows to fully appreciate the highs. Let’s not dwell on the past. I don’t personally think it was his short tenure that caused our demise, more the ownership and poor leadership prior. I wish him well for the future. |
