 | News Comment | Town Set to Sign Adeyemi Today at 10:44:41
Sounds promising, this is from his wiki page: Adeyemi was described by Birmingham manager Lee Clark as a "powerful and talented midfielder".[24] Rösler assessed him as composed.[36] Solskjær expected him to be "a top, top player" for Cardiff, as "a box to box midfielder [who] can attack and defend. He wins the ball really well for us, switches the play and scores goals as well" |
 | News Comment | Patterson Nominated for New Zealand Award at 08:31:10
Mick has shown that if youngsters are good enough and show the right attitude they do get a chance. Makes you wonder why Patterson isn't getting a look in but seems to be very popular in NZ. Maybe the standard of NZ footballers is just very low? |
 | News Comment | Dyer: Players Need Fans’ Support Not Protests at 18:59:30
Agree. I want Mick out as much as most but we need to support the club in hard times, otherwise relegation beckons. Just look at them lot down the road. Relegated to league one but their support never dwindled. At the time I thought they were just too stupid to see how cr@p their team was but what I thought was blind faith has brought them success. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Bemoans Keystone Cops Defending at 23:33:46
Mick has to take the blame here. Four attacking players and an ageing midfield against one of the most dangerous sides in the league away? We were run ragged from start to finish. Last season we'd have kept it safe and played for the point. I don't think we're good enough to be that open away. Back to basics I think |
 | News Comment | Middlesbrough 4-1 Town - Match Report at 17:58:06
What the he'll has happpened to Mings!? Since Dec he looks like he's playing in his slippers! Lost his man for the first goal, didn't block the shot for the second and a succession of ridiculously bad crosses. Smith got done by a good footballer again. He only seems to play well in the typical championship game. Any sign of intelligence from the opposition and he's on his arsenal watching the ball go in the net. Absolutely no creativity from the midfield. We've got some of the best strikers in the division but we may as well have Sam Parkin up front with this midfield. Tabb had a chance to run at the defence one v one but went sideways!! We can't defend a set piece and look just as bad at attacking set pieces. Sign a decent RB Mick and drop Smith and Mings. Let the Bishop and Skuse partnership grow and bring back Anderson who created most of Murphy's goals at the start of the season. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Frustrated By Current Position at 20:55:00
I actually thought Sears deserved to be subbed. He was making runs but not as effective on the ball as he has been. Mick certainly didn't deserve the abuse he got for making the change, especially bringing on another striker of proven quality in Chris Wood. If Mick was being abused and sworn at I don't blame him for telling so called fans to f@ck off. Let's just try being positive and grateful for having a decent manager that has made us tough to beat for the first time in donkeys years. A bit of support could make the difference at this crucial point in the season. |
 | News Comment | Pulis Will Make Williams Decision Today at 12:53:30
@brendenward35 I don't think any other clubs can enter the running to get him on loan now that the deadline has passed. It's either extend his loan with us or go back to Palace |

21 games in the football league tomorrow and not one of them on TV. Not sure why I bother with my subscription! |
 | News Comment | Hyam Out to Win Over Detractor Boys at 08:25:23
The poor lad is only 21 (?) He might not be the most gifted footballer to come through our academy buts he's got potential and deserves our support. No one would argue he puts in a shift everytime he plays, he just needs to improve his game and gain some confidence. We all seem to be forgetting that players can improve! The comments saying we didn't boo we just groaned are really annoying, some fans don't seem to understand how detrimental the constant groaning is to the team. How many times have we seen us play away and the home fans starts to get on the backs of their team and next thing you know their players are making mistakes left right and centre. It has an obvious effect. The groaning seems to even come when we're comfortably passing the ball around but just because we don't immediately lump it in the box or have a shot the players get moaned at. The best teams would happily keep the ball moving for long spells, seemingly going nowhere. It's just being patient but and should be encouraged. Instead players get nervous on the ball and make mistakes. Granted, it's not all down to the crowd but it makes a big difference and I guarantee we would s ee better football if we weren't moaning every five minutes. |
 | News Comment | Blues Exit Youth Cup on Penalties at 12:41:19
Agree with Budgieplucker's points. George Clarke really came into the game second half, reminded me of Olivier Giroud with his hold up play and bringing others into the game, just needs to work on being more of a goal threat. The midfield was also very impressive, passing it around with confidence and some great movement. The academy are obviously trying to bring through players who can play in the style of Barcelona, which is encouraging for the future. Didn't deserve to lose but by the time we got to penalties our boys had given everything and were out on their feet. Sunderland's penalties were class, each one unstoppable. Disappointed the lads went out as they would have benefited greatly from a few extra matches in the cup but the future looked good, as above Omar Showunmi stood out as being a good prospect at CB, Berkane was very good on the ball in midfield and Kyle Hammond made some good runs from RB. The keeper, Michael Crowe also looked pretty decent, looks huge for an U18 and good kick on him. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Wants Strong Finish at 11:26:46
I'm going to be pretty disappointed if at the last home game we are safe and Mick doesn't dance on the pitch with his drawers in the air and an upside down coat hanger in his mouth |
 | News Comment | Deal for Posh Pair Falls Through at 07:43:11
So glad I didnt renew my season ticket! What is the point of bidding for players then offering derisory terms, its a waste of everyones time. If we're not willing to offer big wages we should be targeting lower league players who will not demand big wages! People calling for Jewell head save your breath, I expect him to walk if this shambles continues, just like Joe Royle when we failed to back him. |

The portman pie is amazing. Only second to pieminister pies in my very well informed pie tasting opinion! However, I had one at the Wolves friendly and it definitley was not £2.95. I think it was around £3.85! |

 | News Comment | Bullard Suspended By Hull - Reports at 07:53:58
Hardly putting him in the shop window, surely suspending for unprofessional behaviour will put other clubs off, which will improve our chances of signing him! |
