Blimey, all the negativity!!
It’s a very fickle game.
People soon forget the McCarthy / Jewell days where we had a shoddy pitch (our pitch was immaculate today) and shoddy footy.
This season was pretty poor however, what about all the excitement etc..
Do I think 10 players in and 10 players out - Yes
Do I think a slow start - Yes
Do I think top 6 next season - honestly think we will be in the mix but not as high as you think.
Either way, be pleased to not play on a Sunday at 4pm with VAR.
Bring on next season (with £100m to spend) |

1. Man that game was our season in a heartbeat, we showed soo much promise but they took the ball and stuck it in our net!
2. For anyone moaning, we were almost level with spurs opportunity wise, it must be soo tough after that game
3. That ref was unbelievably biased!!
4. How are we fighting a relegation battle with Wolves, they are streaked ahead of us
5. Looking forward to the championship next year (not being negative) we spanked Cov away with our B team and don’t think we will lose many so will only build
6. Strange how there is no atmosphere in the North concourse at all |

My first post this season…
I’ve watched us every minute this season and although I think it’s been coming the gap is way too big, however think we have been caught out on the following:
Most teams in the prem are full of giants and we went for a team full of small players..
Our squad is 5 players short of decent players IE we need third striker 100% plus stronger defensive / midfield cover.
I could post about how all our old players ain’t good enough etc but what’s the point, to be honest I would far rather be in the championship and have atmosphere and hope rather than attend most games with zero chance or hope.
I sit in the north lower and there is now not one song before the game or at halftime, it’s shocking and depressing…
My only hope after today (which I know isn’t going to happen) is that the club sticks together and builds on a strong bond.
Whoever scouted / signed Muric needs to be sacked, he is absolute tosh, and I hope he’s reading this and volunteeringly cancels his contract, shbeyond means..
For me every player deserves a chance however it’s been too long for the following:
Jack Clarke- produced zero
Muric - sh-terrible
Muric - sh-terrible
Phillips - What does he bring at all
Muric- terrible
If I was a head coach I would try and stick with a formation … and settled team…
Only one big item to keep us up now - WE NEED A STRIKER!!!!
I love my club but we have been miles off it for a while now and to see fringe players like Jack Clarke not perform ever (so far) is extremely disappointing. |

Great effort from the lads today, I think we can all see that, few items lost us the game in the end:
Muric mistake (from the angle I could see)
Ben Johnson outplayed all game
The squad is tired with no real back up
Burgess had the game of his life!!
For anyone that moans, we spent £120m ish so it isn’t like we haven’t tried, but desperately need Jan.
The gap is too big IMO, I think by the end of the season we will have spent close to £200m and just scrape through which is madness!!
In McKenna and Ashton we trust!!

Weird that a Waitrose van driver can go toe to toe with a pro footballer however when they showed the half time dressing room you could tell they all gave that everything they had..
Tonight we won through fitness and with ease… again very professional…
For anyone that has a moan about anything this season just remember we are watching the most enjoyable footy managed by the best manager we have had in years
