Wonder if it may be easier to shift Walton than muric, can’t see us recouping much of the 8mil spent - maybe a loan suits all parties and we go with your line up.
Axel is off the rumours are, so would need to be Clarke & a new signing. Also don’t think anyone will pay the 20mil+ required to sign Leif from us. Same with Hutchinson, hasn’t done enough to justify a transfer to another prem club imo |

Just another negative poster who refuses to believe that they have one.
Clause is rumoured to be £30mil, and has been mentioned by most Manchester City linked journo’s inc Fabrizio and the Man City mouthpiece on talksport stefan something.
I would assume could only be triggered from next summer but hope it doesn’t exist. Just too much chat about it to believe it’s fake news, and Ashton would have come out and confirmed if it didn’t exist. |

Rumoured as 20mil a few months, now seems to be reported as 25-30mil.
£30mil would make sense as it’s double what we originally payed, but puts us back to square one when city inevitable trigger it - if even to sell him to someone else for 40-50mil.
Does anyone know if this actually exists? People seem to be quoting Delap as us selling for 60-70mil, but the reality is if this clause exists we won’t be getting anything more than £30mil - and a big hole to fill.

Having the fifth best defence in the league isn’t something to shout about when you play a back 5 and then have a defensive mid as well. 7 players defending vs 4 attacking makes it a bit of a irrelevant fact. |

It feels like we need to start next season with a fresh start, whilst it seems Lambert is staying, we can change the Captain. Current leaders have been good survants to the club, Skuse & Chambers need to really be focusing on their own performances and getting in the team for me.
This makes me think Downes should be captain, he’s the first name on the team sheet and also gives him a good reason to stay with us and lift two trophy’s! Fingers crossed. |
