Nottsblue difference between you and I is that I didn’t kid myself into thinking this season would be easy. Just remember where we were 3 years ago, and don’t bore me with the whole “that’s the past” nonsense.
In 2022 we’d have snapped anybody’s hand off for a home PL win. I love my club, more so since Ashton and McKenna came in. It’s seems you don’t because you think the path to success is simple. Good luck with that. |

Does make me laugh how many on here think running a football club is simple, and that power should not be with the players. We had over 20 years of pain that shows how hard it is. And players have held all the power for a very long time.
Half the geniuses in here who criticise the clause in Delap’s contract fail to recognise a simple truth. Without the cause he goes to Southampton, which would have left us with no profit and a much worse season. |

The number of people conveniently overlooking his 19 assists last season is comical.
Yeah, he’s been found a bit wanting this season, but that’s partially attributable to not having anyone covering him the way Massimo did.
The penalty he conceded at Fulham a prime example. He shouldn’t have had to peg it back like that as someone should have dropped in and covered him. But yeah, let’s all blame Leif.

Cajuste not near POTY for me. His defensive work just isn’t where it needs to be. Does loads of wonderful eye catching stuff going forward, but his tracking back and covering ain’t the best.
