I wonder if it's a coincidence, but since Nouble has been here JET seems to have improved too. I know they're quite close (judging by they're 'clack' videos) so they may be pushing each other on. Good stuff. |

Am I right in thinking that if I paid by Direct Debit last year it will automatically renew, and I don't have to do diddly (unless I wanted to cancel - which I was very tempted to do)? Would liked to have had visibility of the team next year, as if it's going to be full of loanee's again i'd rather pick and choose games. Loanee's are not the way to go. |

Merry Christmas everyone. Lets get behind the Blues again this year and get the good times back. |

@ Back_The_Boss, you're a disgrace missing that game! Just messing - that's one hell of a commitment, and hats off to you. Shame you wont be able to get there and make it a full set this season. Hope our runs continues and you get to enjoy all the games ;) |
 | News Comment | Jewell Struggling for Ways to Explain Defending at 22:53:39
Its been said above, but the 2cbs needs replacing. Neither are commanders, nor competent nor confident. I even thought MacA was a liability. And right back needs sorting too. If only we could have another Cresswell, or even have kept rosenior or Harding! |

Just seen Birmingham signed Jonathan Spector - shame we couldn't have enticed him this way. |

BBC Sport have picked this story up in a double swoop, JET and Stockdale. I'm sure we'll hear something this afternoon as GTRKing pointed out. |

Always liked the guy, didn't expect him to be front runner for us though. I'm prepared to get behind him, at least it's a chance for a shake up, and hopefully get back to playing entertaining football again. I liked Keane, but certainly this season his decisions have been crazy. I never booed him or wanted him to fail, but could see it was time for a change and glad we have made the step. Maybe Jewell can get some new blood in too, Keane might have been scaring some people off (you never know). Good luck Jewell (if you our new manager), and come on you blues! |
 | News Comment | Keane Not Getting Carried Away at 10:21:48
Completely agree with you brian, Priskin and Scotland have been a good pairing and will get even better once we stop hoofing the ball over the top of them and play to their feet, or even their bodies. Wickham is a good player to bring on as his strength and pace will definitely test the tiring defenders. Really pleased to see Priskin showing something at last. I don't think his posture helps peoples perception of him, as he comes across as though he can't be bothered, but he's got a good touch and links up very well with Scotland. |

Great addition to squad this year. Wish him the best (though not against us). We do, now and again, get some decent loan signings that make an impact in the Premiership - such as Mark Noble. |
 | News Comment | Keane: Some Have Done More Than Their Fair Share at 10:21:16
Agree with you PablosRightBoot. Peters has done everything asked of him (and more) and certainly owned players twice his size playing at left back. One of the only players that will actually run the wing, something we're sorely lacking (why do we always leave huge gaps on the wings in the opponents half?). Walters also hasn't had a season like his previous ones. Though Rosenior was having a cracking season until he got subbed and dropped out of the picture. |

Very interesting read, and very glad to see the boys committed all game last night. Great performance, thought our midfield ruled well and we kept pressing all game. Sure we soaked up a few Cardiff chances, and their shooting was atrocious, but that's all part of the game and we dealt with it really well. Let's hope we continue in this form, where every game, and always should have, counts. |
 | News Comment | Keane Happy With Point at 10:04:31
I didn't know how to feel after the game. West Brom were definately the better team (and really looked good), but we seemed to have the best chances. Before the game i'd have taken a point, even a 0-1 loss (at least keeping the score low), but to drop 2 points in the last minute of injury time AGAIN just deflates you. I just think we need to get our midfield into the box more often. How many times are we seeing players down the wing with no-one in the box, yet the opposition completely crowd our like the Baggies did with their goal last night. Also, we've gotta help our players out - who helped out Priskin in the corner late in the game last night? We could have kept that ball and seen the game out. Could have really pushed us up the table, but a point is better than nothing. Glad to see we didn't roll over and let them walk all over us. |
 | News Comment | Keane: Not Our Best But I\'ll Take the Win at 12:55:11
As a poster said before, Rosenior's walk around to applaud the fans at the end was a great touch. Even at the Watford game he seemed extremely gutted and gave a shirt to a member of the crowd. He seems very much like Noble was here, very passionate about whatever team he plays for. Just shows that he cares for the team and the fans. Ugly win, but a win's a win, and very happy for us (though gutted we're still bottom!). the atmosphere in Upper Bobby Robson stand was crazy, lets hope we can be like that every game. |
 | News Comment | McAuley: It Was the Worst Feeling Ever at 16:54:06
Wasn't his greatest admiring at the start of the season, but since he's been stripped of the armband his performances have improved. So much so I think he could have been a candidate for Man of the Match on Tuesday night, and that takes a lot for me to say that. |
