It's a real shame if he doesn't sign for us, being our top scorer and all. Ian Holloway is a very funny man. When was the last time a football manager quoted Quincy Jones? I think that we have the funniest two managers in the league. I believe that our new signings will have the best brought out of them by MM and TC. Not since JR did I feel our club was in safe hands. I think Camp would be a fantastic signing as well. I know we gave the cocky bugger some serious grief but if he signs he will be our cocky bugger. |

JET got through his entire youth career on sheer talent and being bigger than the other players (U18 and below). A bit of hard graft and he could be an outstanding. I think your comments are not worth a reply but you are clearly very upset and I'm worried you might cry.
All I was trying to say is that we are on our best run of form for a very long time and to dig at the manager seems very unfair. My opinion only. I formed it myself by watching town and understanding the numbers and figures involving my club since the new manager took over. My comments may have been "childish in the extreme" but were merely a satirical reflection of what many post on this site. I don't take what anyone says as gospel but I feel Phil understands football and we agree about some things.
Being my own boss I don't tend to buy your "percieved to be in a position of power argument". I'm genuinely sorry for misquoting you but I do think you misunderstood the point I was trying to make. I hope we can be friends. |

@naa. Of course this is a place for us all to have our opinions and I'm having mine. I'm not saying NRC has set the world on fire but MM has. He took on a miserable team who were adrift at the bottom and has turned us into one of the leagues form teams (almost 2 points per game, playoff form).
People saying "Mick has a blind spot and makes dodgy substitutions..." to me sounds daft. Why is my comment pointless? Just because it happened to be positive? Gary Megson's odds have come down a fair bit the the last couple of hours. Surely they can't be even considering him???!!! The fact that the players don't seem to care is disgusting. I love playing football and give it my all when I play at GOALS on the Thursday night. These are people who have actually achieved the dream of most young boys in the country. They are a disgrace. Paul Jewell signed most of them and clearly failed to motivate them. I can't see why anyone would want this job... |
