 | News Comment | Jewell Struggling for Ways to Explain Defending at 23:42:21
I must admit i think jewell has been a revelation since taking over from keane, but tonight i have to criticise him for the first time. Leadbitter on the right? Even though JET and martin had poor games saturday i would still play them ahead of leadbitter down the flank. Leadbitter only has one position and that's centre midfield. Saying that why not give carson a go, at least he showed intent when he came on saturday. Central defence is woeful pure and simple, fryatt turned smith inside out far to easily saturday and lambert, lallana and co made an example of both smith and delaney tonight. If we get two centre halves and another creative midfielder by the end of the window i personally think we'll be fine this year. |

 | News Comment | Keane: If My Best Isn\'t Good Enough I\'ll Take the Consequences at 12:05:55
I must admit i have been patient with Keane and wanted to see if he could build a side that could make us serious contenders for promotion to the premier league but now my patience is wearing thin. Keane for me makes very odd decisions to often, especially when it comes to the team selections and how we set out to play at times. As many of you have pointed out we don't have any width or balance in the team. When it comes to who he plays i can't for the life of me understand why he doesn't use players like priskin and peters more often, instead of chucking eastman or brown at full back or putting murray on the bench. Even though peters is not the best full back by trade he has the pace and high work rate to get himself out of trouble. I feel priskin deserves to play a lot more than what he does, as soon as he plays a few matches and scores a couple of goals in that period he gets dropped and can't even get back into the squad .... why? Even other games when he doesn't score such as swansea he still puts in the effort. He shown whilst at Watford he's more than capable of scoring consistantly in the championship when he is given a good run of games. I still think we are only 3 or 4 players off being a decent side in the championship but Keane doesn't help himself by playing who we have atm out of position ( o'dea, colback, eastman, brown sometimes) |

 | News Comment | Town Again Linked With Move for Chopra at 23:15:17
Right now Chopra is probably one of the best strikers at championship level... Standard! It would be silly of us not attempting to sign him. A partnership of either him and wickham or him and priskin would do some serious damage next season. |

My mate supports leyton orient and when he saw him play for them during the first half of the season he said that he wasn't anything special..... and thats a club that only just beat the drop in league one |
 | News Comment | Keane Happy With Draw at 19:10:30
I like many others also agree with put your boots on keano. I don't want to see ipswich become a club that sacks managers when the first site of things go wrong. Just look a qpr, they keep a manager for a few months and after a few defeats their gone. No stability at qpr and the whole process of rebuilding starts over and over again, and it shows by their league position. Everton is a club that has rightly kept faith in their manager, david moyes. After his first full season in charge they finished 17th, 6 points from relegation. After that he lead them to 4th 2004/2005 season 11th 2005/2006 season 6th 2006/2007 season 5th 2007/2008 season 5th 2008/2009 season and just look at how solid they have been as this season has progressed... they only started off slow this season due to key players that moyes signed being injured. The main reasons why moyes has done well at everton is that there is stability and he has been given enough time to build a squad that he believes will perform on a consistant basis. I think ipswich should follow in a similar approach and give roy enough time to build a squad capable of finishing high in the championship |
 | News Comment | Stead Close to Coventry Move at 21:35:11
I just don't get it..... he's a half decent striker. Loan out pablo instead, yes he's got good technical ability but he's not half the goal threat that stead is. |
