Rochdale 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report Tue 05th Nov 2019
Danny Rowe’s first Town goal was enough to see the Blues to a 1-0 win against Rochdale at Spotland and back to the top of League One. The winger reacted quickly to turn a defensive error past home keeper Jay Lynch in the 53rd minute to win the first ever fixture between the sides.

Town 1-1 Barnsley Sat 19th Jan 2013
Barnsley sub Danny Rose netted a late equaliser - his first league goal - to deny the Blues three points as the Tykes left Portman Road having claimed a deserved 1-1 draw. Town were fortunate to be on terms at half-time — ex-Blues loanee Marlon Harewood missing a number of chances — but Luke Chambers put Mick McCarthy's men in front in the 56th minute.

Daryl Murphy’s fourth goal of his second loan spell with the Blues was enough to see Town to a 1-0 victory over Barnsley at Portman Road. The Irishman struck soon after half-time with the on-loan Celtic man and Lee Martin subsequently having good chances to add to the Blues’ lead, while Jay Emmanuel-Thomas struck the bar.

Second half goals from Keith Andrews (2), Danny Collins, Michael Chopra and Jason Scotland saw the Blues turn around a two-goal half-time deficit in an extraordinary fashion to beat Barnsley 5-3 at Oakwell. Town had been atrocious before the break with the Tykes deservedly two goals in front via Craig Davies, a penalty, and Ricardo Vaz Te. Davies added Barnsley’s third in the closing minutes.
