The Blues, who went into the weekend top of the Championship but following the afternoon fixtures are down to second, were never at their best with Marcelino Nunez’s 39th-minute free-kick giving the Canaries the lead and Town huffing and puffing unconvincingly as they looked for a leveller in the second half.
