Not too many sweeter moments in football than winning a penalty shootout against a team who have been your rivals all season.

That spot-kick victory over Southampton set up a home FA Cup tie with West Ham which saw the Tractor Girls appear live on TV for the first time. Even if they were ultimately defeated, they were far from out-classed and will have learned from the experience.

The Saints eventually went on to claim top spot, despite Town having beaten then 2-0 away in the league earlier in the season, and won the play-off to win promotion. The Blues will be looking to emulate them in 2022/23.
