Looking back at last year, only 3.7 per cent of respondents believed we'd go up automatically for a second year with most predicting the play-offs, 53.6 per cent, or mid-table, 42.3 per cent.

Staying up is obviously the first aim and one which will be far from easy, as the relegation of all three of last season's promoted clubs shows all too clearly.

But at the same time, 27 points would have been enough to stay up, which surely can't be beyond us, particularly if we manage to maintain home form anywhere near where it's been for the last couple of seasons.

Mid-table would be nice, but I can see us in that struggling, but safe area of the division come May, which I'm sure all of us would be delighted to see.
