TWTD Questionnaire 2014/15

Q6 Player of the 2014/15 season?

We did consider only putting one name down for this category given that the winner was as predictable as a North Korean general election. Daryl Murphy carried off every Town Player of the Year gong this season after his terrific campaign.

Having surpassed David Johnson's total of 22 league goals in 1999/00 - the last time a Town player netted 20 or more in the league - we ended up talking about records set by Ray Crawford and Ted Phillips back in the 1960s, a different era when goals came thicker and faster. A remarkable performance by the Irishman, who finished fourth last year.

Last year's winner Christophe Berra had another excellent season and finished second this time around, while Freddie Sears's impact after signing from Colchester in January saw him make the top five.
