Fulham were certainly the most impressive visitors to Portman Road during 2016/17 even if their Premier League push ended in the play-off semi-finals. Definitely a side to watch out for in the campaign ahead.

While Brighton thoroughly deserved their promotion over the season as a whole, the Seagulls weren't at their best in either game against the Blues, while Newcastle were hugely dominant at St James' Park but well beaten by Town at Portman Road.

The Terriers showed that despite the huge increase in money at the top of the Championship it is still possible for the less well-funded clubs - and their reported wage bill of approaching £12 million is more than £5 million lower than Town's - can still make it into the play-offs and then into the Premier League.
