Ipswich Town 0 v 2 Rotherham United
FA Premier League
Tuesday, 23rd November 2021 Kick-off 19:45
Help added 22:21 - Nov 23
Evans has to be dropped what does he bring to the game other than poor passes and nothing else. Can you imagine what we would be like if Edmundson was injured. It would be more than 2 goals a game. Got to look at the formation 4 games without a goal. Not enough through midfield, to many long balls to a double marked Bonne. Not fast or clinical enough to beat the opposition, to pedestrian. Inept performance from both players and manager

Big gulf between the teams. Not enough movement up front or midfield. Rotherham came and neutralised us and deservedly won the game easily.

Another home game where we concede the initiative from the start, opposition quicker to the ball and worked harder from start to finish. Even if Cook had a plan B, it wouldn't make any difference unless the players worked as hard as the opposition. Rockets up posteriors required.

Serious question............what does Scott Fraser actually do within the team ? Not saying he is a bad player......just don't see what his role is or what value he actually adds. He doesn't run at players....doesn't sem to spray passes around.....doesn't run around winning tackles.....doesn't bring a big engine and drive between the boxes.....doesn't often break into the box to attempt shots......just seems to float around not doing very much. Again.....not saying he is a bad player (Or a good one).....just have no idea what he is supposed to be bringing to the team.

Also.......i'm guessing no-one will want to hear this but......the love-in with Celina needs to stop. He has done next to nothing all season.......yes he popped one in from six yards when it was put on a plate for a last minute winner (Which was lovely !) and ran half the length of the pitch unchallenged to pop one into an empty net at Wycombe.....but apart from that and he has been a passenger. Around 75% of his 'passes' go straight to the opposition. No doubt he has some ability in there, but how he keeps getting in the team, especially ahead of Chaplin is beyond me.

Celina was terrible doesn't work hard enough. Frazer and evans cant run. Our full backs and i know janoi has been good but does not get forward for this system. Edmundson brilliant along with morsey and bonne. Even when they are off they try their socks off. The rest are sunshine players loads of ability but dont harry or put it in. I saw edwards standing still and not contesting ANY header wtf. Nsiala doing well aswell.. needs to be a serious meeting of the players.

Clements out of his depth
Fraser lost ball consistently
Bonne with no support
Moray no forward motion & safe passes
Celina off night
+ r
Rotherham a better team!
