I thought we had an excellent first half, very composed on the ball and outplaying Cardiff at times. After the break the opposition seemed more canny, and gave Tyrone Mings and Jon Parr a very uncomfortable time, sometimes with good football pressure, but at other times through simple gamesmanship. Though Johnny Williams' movement was sublime at times the midfield seemed to be a bit overrun throughout the second half, and as a result there was little useful quick ball to feet for Sammon, McGoldrick and Murphy to work with. Final point - some of our deadball work, especially free kicks within range, was woeful. PS: The Cardiff City 'experience' is far less intimidating than it used to be, and the stewards were actually friendly. But for some reason they severely underestimated the away crowd - they expected 'up to 300' but I reckon there must have been around 500, so only the one bar at half time was a bit of a blow (for those of us deluded enough to be looking forward to seeing the whole of the second half!).
