AFC Wimbledon 1 v 3 Mansfield Town SkyBet League Two Saturday, 4th March 2023 Kick-off 15:00 |
gippeswyk added 22:14 - Aug 11 Game of two halves. Town were awful first 30 minutes. Different side after the break and played some lovely football. Could have run out 4 or 5 - 1 winners. Fraser replacing ineffective Toure was key. Fraser is sheer quality and linked up beautifully with Pittman and Didzy. Kenlock grew into the game and had a great spell second half. Yorwerth took his goal well and was solid with Berra. Some promising talent in the squad but first 30 minutes was hopeless. harlingblue added 00:07 - Aug 12 Disjointed first half, with Town players finding their feet and adjusting to each other in a much changed team. The introduction of Fraser was the catalyst for a much improved second half that saw some flowing football from the home side. Didz, Pitman and Tabb interchanged positions at will and with much aplomb, while Kenlock had a great debut, and Yorworth, after a shaky first half grew into the game and gained a fine equalising goal. DerryfromBury added 06:49 - Aug 12 MOM Jay Tabb just edged it over Myles Kenlock. however very impressive debut for Myles, be interested to see if he is yet ready to face tougher competition i.e. the likes of Boro, Derby etc. CraigEdwards added 08:26 - Aug 12 Steady game although towns defence still seem to misjudge any bounce of a ball over the top which has caught them out three times already this season. What s great start to your footballing career for the young lad Kenlock he grow to the game and he reminds me of a young George burley, another feather in the cap for the academy. Overall a workman like performance with a couple of handy headaches for Saturday's game. Orraman added 10:46 - Aug 12 Very impressive debut for Myles Kenlock and Josh Yorwerth grew into game. Ryan Fraser certainly got the game and the crowd going after his introduction but for me the performance of David McGoldrick was the outstanding feature of the game. Totally outclassed everyone on the field and has surely posed MM a major selection headache after Sears was so energetic on Saturday and Murphy just cannot be left out.
