Time to drop Kalvin Phillips and Muric

That was shocking.....65 minutes before we bothered to have a go.
Burgess easily our best performer today, Moray battles and covered, Delap bundled into an Everton player as often as possible.....and that was it.

Might have been a different game if Clarke had taken his early chance but quickly degenerated into a mix of awful defending and impotent attempts to keep possession until we could find a way through. Only the predictable substitutions at predictable times brought some energy, but too late. KM's still inexperienced and learning at this level and it's far more difficult than in previous divisions. Hopefully he's a quick learner.

We haven't made quality signings I'm afraid bring in championship players you get a championship team. Delap is far and away our best signing and without his goals we would be rock bottom. Greaves started well but lost form and apparently was injured today. Muric dosent communicate with his defenders what so ever and was told so by Morsy on a number of occasions.

Linkboy we already had a Championship team a blooming good one with spirit and fight, we panic bought at the end of the window. I honestly believe we should stop playing players because we bought them and pick players who gave a performance today I'd pick the team that finished for the next game. Burgess and Woolfie did well, Phillips was awful today O'Shea was poor and Jack Clarke not much better. Lets return to our Championship players Chaplin made such a difference and space up front, Harry Clarke looked good too, lets use the signings as impact players and give Walton a better chance in goal, Muric wasn't good today.
Time for a radical re-think!!

Absolute jokers who didn’t watch the match are giving ratings on here again. Morsy was outstanding. He was constantly tracking back to cover and then moving the team forward. I would love to see his stats. Working tirelessly for 90 minutes and really making up for the lesser effort of Phillips. Anyone who doesn’t give him 8 or more simply didn’t watch the match. Omari had his best game. Gave ball away less and was very involved. Unfortunately Burgess was ponderous for the second goal ( watch again and you will see it). Obviously Burns had a mare for the first one. With Tuanzebe and Greaves, those two goals wouldn’t have happened. Woolfenden did well. Leif looks like he is getting a bit quicker and stronger. Chaplin looks determined when he comes on. Great to see Harry C back. He will start from now. Jack C can’t shoot but I think he is going to be an important player. Town TV has the whole match. Those who just give everyone a 4 when we lose should watch again. No need for negativity, the win will come and I am confident we will climb to mid table by the end !

Really disappointing performance. Looked very nervous at the back although I thought Wolfy had a reasonable game and should be persisted with. I thought it before the game and this game emphasised that Omari should play out wide. Much more effective. I would play Szmodics central behind Delap. We need more from Phillips and Davis. We will click soon so keep the belief folks! My MOM would be between Muric and Hutchinson.

Dreadful game....no confidence & new signings don't appear to be any improvement on last season with exception of Delap who looks a gem. Phillps still doesn't look fully fit & work to be done there.
I agree with earlier comments that Walton should be given a chance bearing in mind that he only lost his place as a result of injury.
Surprisingly, Davis looks a shadow of his former self & sure thatb is down to confidence.
On the positive side, thank goodness for the permanent signing of Omari & arrival of Delap. We need more guile in midfield & background team working on their confidence.
