Nottingham Forest 1 v 0 Ipswich Town FA Premier League Saturday, 30th November 2024 Kick-off 15:00 | ![]() |
Eeyore added 18:14 - Nov 30 Town had the best of the first half. I was with the Forest fans and they were furious about their slow build up play. Morsy and Cajuste bossed the midfield. Great turns from Cajuste. They dealt with Delap pretty well and he was more quiet than usual. Omari a big threat in first half but we didn’t make many chances. In the second half players who started well such as Chaplin and Hutchinson faded a little and forest were on top for most of the half. We had one really great move which ended up with a rather tame shot from J Clarke. No massive threat from Forest at any point in the game really. Definitely not a top 10 team. The positive is that we made them look ordinary and they needed a pen to win it. Could have gone either way and I think a point would have been fairest result. Linkboy13 added 18:45 - Nov 30 Plenty of effort from the team but we lack quality . Buying championship standard players is not working apart from Delap and like Brentford and Brighton need to be looking further afield for players. Robert_Garrett added 19:11 - Nov 30 We must be more consistant over the 90 minutes. It will come with time and experience. Its a big learning curve and some big lucky plays are due any time now. We must be patient - Rome wasnt built in a day? The referee was excellent but the Forest fans get very impatient when things dont go their way. Jota was a fake and a menace and should have been sent off. Such games will be won comfortably in the future and despite losing our fans were excellent - we could hear them the whole match on the Sky TV. COYB.
