Dont really know were to start........

We played well for an hour. 1st half we played well but didnt get the 2 goals required and I would say for at least an hour we controlled the game but didnt get that 2nd goal.

Instead we did what we have done for at least the majority of the last 3 years, for some reason we sat back and, yet again, once they equalised with surprise surprise, a mistake at the back, it was only a matter of time before the got the winner.

I now genuinely fear for us. What is the long term plan for the club?

Is there a genuine plan? Signing 30 somthings for a month is not the answer.

1 minute were investing in the future, then were panicking and getting players in for a month.

Were is this club going? Wheres the strong leadership? An anominous owner, a cheif exec who hasnt a clue and a manager who has lost his way.

People we are in trouble. I'm tired of watching groundhog day the last 4 years.

Cresswell and dury need dropping. Cressy`s form has dropped off a cliff and dury is too slow. He looks knackered after 20 mins. Tries hard but not good enough. Wellens looked excellent , higgin was good but a few rubbish long paaases and shots though. Carlos glided over the turf , I think he is getting better with age. Loach was once again the culpret for points loast. Needs resting , try ALB and then get someone better in .Not much chance in the loan market though. Its a mess !!!Jet and martin did the fancy stuff but did it come off ? Any end product ? No . It wasnt Jewells fault today even idf some bellend who sits near me in the Brittania made his voice felt .

StowTractorBoy - agree with your post, but the purpose of Goalkeeper Coaches is to iron these discrepancies out of a keepers game.
I think both have the basics of good keepers, and it shouldn't be too difficult to coach the faults out.
To my knowledge Webster still has that role within the Club, and has a reputation of being as good as there is.

As you point out - the stats make abysmal reading whatever.

Agree partially with StowTractor Boy, but we cannot keep on playing like this. Compare Jewell with Mackay and see who was jeeing his players on. ALB to be given a chance to prove his worth, but Jewell has to go or we are heading to the proverbial Ist Division in which we will stay for a long while.

Would like to see Jet put on a Jet, we cannot afford to have a player floating in and out of games like this guy....another Jewell signing. What would Joe Royal have done with all this money.

Thought Mick Mills was very sensible on Radio Suffolk, could do no worse then giving him a chance.

PimsNumber1 - agree Cresswell looks jaded, and lethargic - not been the same since the alleged Villa interest.
Doing himself no favours.

1st half good. But 2nd half Rubbish Why take DJ Camble off? Jet was tired & needed to come off. PJ Tactics are poor. He needs to go. I have backed him but it's gone to far

H32 I agreed with something you said last week and am in full agreement with your first post on here - it's got to stop! This is the first game I have seen in over two years and was quite thrilled during the first half then Drury got casual and simply passed the ball to an opponent about ten yards outside his own area and bang - in two touches it was in our net. As for Loach, the very first time I have ever seen him, I would put him on the first train back to Watford - a flapper (have just spent a few days watching old matches with Paul Cooper at work, against real attacks too). I was impressed with jet, he made one outstanding move and then lost concentration on the final shot and it ballooned over, what a shame, he could be good - if he grows up. Was disappointed with Cresswell, he was out of position and made no effort to stop the second goal which Loach was too naive to get but that is what a good defence is all about. Apart from the keeper and the Cresswell incident I thought our defence was quite OK, we should have won. For me the MOM was Carlos, he is a worker and lovely to watch. How does PJ feel I wonder? He has formed an excellent team (on no funds), got them playing good, exciting football, and then they lose concentration and start daydreaming and let it all go. If PJ gets sacked through this lot then there is no justice. i am beginning to think we should all get together and buy Evans out. COYB

Seen that Marcus Evans has supported PJ, he has just shown his Ace card. Does not worry seeing our club in the lower leagues as he will still be able to use Ipswich Town as a Tax Haven to offload any huge profits he has made.

Are we the supporters the only people worried about our present position.

DOMMYBOYBLUE.......I agree 100pc 1up dosent work.PJ has been picking a team not to lose and its going to cost him his job.Wellens and durey never crossed the half way and jet and murphy both 6ft dont get in the box enough, also making a sub on 90min is a joke when 2.1 down not up.Times up paul we have 2 weeks to a guy in that at least if were are going down we go with a fight not a soft 3pts that we are at the moment.we never looked like scoring a 2nd and that played havoc with the back 4,players got tired and we delayed making changes...
