Linkboy13 added 20:32 - Mar 12 Can't fault the commitment and performance today considering injuries to our key players. Wolfenden was excellent and is now showing greater maturity. But Burgess came in and considering he hadn't played a full game for months gave a MOM performance for me. Morsys injury was crucial . nolanfanips added 02:39 - Mar 13 Good game Chaplin had a good game but Portsmouth came for a point we couldn’t break them down enough to get more chances than we had. harlingblue added 04:37 - Mar 13 Interesting match, Ipswich by far the better footballing team, but the end product is still missing? The defence, and with stand in Burgess having a man of the match display, looked solid, but with the injury to Morsy and the previous to Evans, our midfield look a trifle lightweight, missing driving runs, not sideway passes. Having said that we made Portsmouth look a very ordinary side today. We may miss out on promotion this year, but Town under MacKenner are finally sowing the seeds of a far better future for our club. I think people are very harsh in Bakinson, yes he has the odd misplaced pass, but he is loving the ball much quicker, probably quicker than his natural game, and his ability to break play up is excellent. The way ahead is perfectly clear but will we run out of games before this is achieved? Barty added 09:10 - Mar 15 Decent game and we deserved to win but unfortunately we were robed of a perfectly good goal but a bunch of moronic officials who clearly do not know the rules of the game .
