jas1972 added 18:03 - Feb 12 Robert_Garrett added 18:21 - Feb 12 Grotty pitch but some pretty good football played in an entertaining passing game. Neither goalies had much to do which means that one side cancelled the other out. Morsy outstanding by a mile followed by Burnsie. The MK players constantly chipping in at the ref is a tactic we should perhaps action? Ref was really good LegendofthePhoenix added 19:23 - Feb 12 Solid team performance, we definitely controlled the majority of the match. Difficult surface but not many really good strikes on goal. Walton superb yet again, and great driving runs from Morsy through the middle. Interesting to see Jackson used to keep stretching their back line, maybe KMcK has found a way to use his pace and energy. A point isn't the end of the world, and some competitors slipped up. Good day out, onward and upward. Stourbridgeblue added 19:32 - Feb 12 A chess match between two technical sides spoilt by a fussy, over zealous ref. We look so much more solid at the back now. Great to have Morsy back too. Linkboy13 added 21:56 - Feb 12 Morsy showed touches of real class today especially in the first half. One i remember early in the first half he brought the ball down in his own penalty area showing great composure and setting us up on the attack in an instant. Celina was not far behind him always probing for openings. Playing Bakinson in that defensive midfield role has made us look more solid although there was the odd occasion where he got caught in possession. Jackson looked quite lively which is more than you can say about Bonne and Norwood the latter seems to want to kick the player more than the ball. Help added 09:27 - Feb 13 timleatham added 13:45 - Feb 13 A very watchable 0-0 and Ipswich played really well against a decent MK Dons. We deserved to win however sadly our quality in the final third was not good enough. Morsy gets my MOM followed by Burns and Celina and then the three centre backs and Walton. Chaplin and Thompson disappointed slightly for me plus the lack of impact that the subs made. Jackson did well in his first start for ages. We desperately need better crossing from the left and and also some clinical finishing from the forwards.
