Some massive gaps and not many away fans (not sure they even celebrated their first goal). Yeah, a lot less than 15k but we've as gone home happy.

I have to say I very nearly exploded with that first goal, Berra was terrible all round, two chances to clear it, then messed up the clearance, then (and worse of all) he laid on the floor to watch the Blackburn players pass it about then score. Only got up once the ball was in the net. Terrible attitude.
Got a goal so made up for it a bit, but didn't like seeing that at all

We’ll be good again... one day

He decided to support Wet Sham or Derby last year - I don't remember or care which. Quite why he is still on TWTD, I don't know.

So, you've been less recently than me then?

is that an admission that you were wrong to mock those of us that felt, and still feel, that the club needs investment in the first team squad ?

It's more a 'I'm not entirely sure what kind of leap of logic you managed to make from me reminding dollars that blackburn are rubbish to get to that rant there, anyone would think you've been pining away for me'.

I said they're not "terrible".

As someone who didn't go to the game I'm not sure you're in a position to comment either way.

It's your modus operandi though isn't it?

They're in the bottom 3. They might not have been terrible today(as you say, I'm in no position to call on that one) but their league position does rather suggest that, ultimately, they're not very good.

But, as I think I've quite eloquently put, I was merely suggesting they're not "terrible".

Certainly their recent results (apart from today) would suggest they have something about them and could well pull away from the bottom 3.

But you carry on knocking a good result if it makes you happy.

Hey, a win is a win is a win, particularly this season. Let's just hope we can build on it.

Smallest crowd perhaps, but today we were entertained and went home with a feel good feeling, that is a first for such a long time.

I went to the game today.

But you can't call the people who didn't go 'bedwetters' and 'simpletons'

come on man.

By his own admission he himself didn't go, therefore Benters is actually describing himself as a "bedwetter and simpleton" - just one of the reasons I'm finding this thread a bit strange!

As you regularly say you don't go because tickets are too expensive, I'll assume that the "bedwetters and simpletons" who didn't attend includes yourself :)

Of course i am a simpleton land worker and proud of it !

I find people like Bloo,Taximan and Cruncher interesting as like me they dont have the need to belong to the Groovy Gang/Herd or Offended Police .

They call a digging implement a digging implement and thats good enough for me.

So you don't put a penny into the club but feel justified in asking the owner to put more millions in than he's already doing? Incredible sense of entitlement right there.
