I just don't understand why everyone thinks he's going to leave.
What evidence is there that we would sell? Is he visibly unhappy?
So what if he could go for free next season? It's not like we could get £5m for him in January and therefore have to sell to recoup some money.
He's given us plenty over the years for very little so we risk it and if he goes, he goes. We owe him that. | |
