I know somebody who works in the Midlands (EMA) and he says Chris Martin is joining on loan with view to full time deal. More information when I get it.

Someone at the airport has def info on fatty Martin? He was supposed to be going to QPR with McClaren. He is effectively a retired footballer, the bloke is hopeless.

Chris Martin is the sort of player we could have done with 5 years ago. Given his attitude issues, lack of mobility and the whole Derby to Fulham to Derby to Fulham fiasco, I can't see any way he fits into what Hurst wants in style of play or personality. I'd be sceptical Hurst would want him even if Derby were literally giving him away in the Waghorn deal.

His wages will kill any chance of a deal. Would have to take a pay cut which no footballer who thrives on greed will do

Wasn't expecting to hear "SOMETHING JUST LIKE THIS", thought he was a "YELLOW", if he joins, maybe we can go "UP & UP"... I'll stop now, before someone puts me "IN MY PLACE."

Think I would genuinely prefer him up top over the Derby namesake.

Personally seeing in a blue and white shirt would make me SHIVER. Would certainly add a few SPARKS to the derby. But if he nodded in the winner we'd be in PARADISE. We'd see it as a genius move by Hurst, who we'd nickname THE SCIENTIST and the away end would be very much a case of EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL. Up the league we go at the SPEED OF SOUND.

EMA is obviously the Derby version of Copdoch Tesco’s or Ipswich hospital!

Seriously, what difference does it make where your mate works, unless it’s at Pride Park or similar!

Beccles, but quite possibly Swaffham, Dereham, Yarmouth etc too. Thoroughly unpleasant bloke and plenty of stories doing the rounds about him that will make Phil twitchy.
