Watson has just said that it can be.

Small issue of the club potentially being wound up tomorrow first!

even if they are wound up, surely an administrator will still run it as a going concern until the assets are sold.

Thought we’d gone beyond that stage as it is HMRC involved

HMRC could let the game go ahead and take in all the gate money to set against their debt but that would involve the Official Receiver running Bolton Wanderers for a few more weeks and I doubt the Official Receiver wants to do that. Then there is the small matter of the safety certificate.

Think it would be the very last option the EFL would consider, a postponement seems more likely, assuming there is still a club after tomorrow's High Court hearing.

Think that's a misreading of the EFL statement. As far as I'm told the game being behind closed doors isn't on the cards.

If there is no club after tomorrow, would we even be awarded the points by default?

The liquidated club's points are usually expunged from the league in their entirety.

I think in that instance all their results from this season would just be struck from the records and lots of people would lose points.
