Whatever happened to him?

According to Wikipedia, from 2012 he fell off the edge of the planet. Still only 32, so hardly ancient...

Anyone aware of what he's currently up to?

Running into dead ends, and leaving the ball behind.

Hes very fast though.

Edit: Just seen he made 99 apps for us!! I never would have guessed he played that many games.

Indeed, I found that a surprising stat too.

Didn't we beat the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool etc to sign him? He couldn't have just finished his career at 25.

There were definitely reports of those kind of clubs being interested in him, especially Man Utd.

...whether there was any substance to those reports is another matter.

I always thought he showed great promise and was surprised he never found a level where he could dominate, I mean surely he'd have been a pain in the arse to play against in L1 at least?

Last time I heard he went back to Canada and tried out for a couple of the teams there - not seen any mention of him since so presume he gave up

Would have had a decent start from the contracts he did sign for us but definitely a shame it all ended at 25

Maybe he fell into the parallel universe that is the TWTD forum and nobody has seen hide nor hair of him since. Perhaps he came on here to simply read the Saturday match report back in 2016 but then somehow spent the next 2 or 3 years arguing with others on here about Brexit, even if he is Canadian! He shouldn't let that stop him!

I think he was one of the leading lights of the World Youth Cup playing for Canada (which got us all rather excited) but didn't quite go to plan once he arrived here. I remember him playing in the 7 nil whooping away to Chelsea in the FA Cup. He had some moments but he certainly didn't live up to the initial hype.

Manure also had Lee Martin on their books around that same time, so I don't think they really gave too much thought about their second string in that period...

Just like Keane didn't give much thought to our first string! ;-)

"Who do I know who responds well to bullying and passive aggressive man management"

Signs Martin, Edwards and Leadbitter

"Now who to pick on?"

Exiles both Wrights, Bruce, Garven, Walters, Counago and Stead in a 3 month period

"Excellent"

He should write a book, "How to Lose the Dressing Room and Alienate People".

Ill never forgive him for pushing R Wright out.

One of my all time Ipswich faves, and was delighted when he returned for good.

Wright was never really going to be at his best under Keanes approach to man management.

He did! It's quite an interesting read, especially on how between Evans and Clegg neither of them knew what was going on and that the three men never had a conversation together let alone met in the same room, Clegg and Evans signing some players for way over the odds without telling Keane and then the players Keane really wanted they didn't shell out for. He was doing his nut in! Just a recipe for total disaster.

Think he just drifted out of football. He had a couple of trials in Canada after left here but from what I gather from someone who knew him when he was here, he was never a big football fan, was more into American sports. Think ultimately he just lacked the desire required.

I've signed up just to answer this question because I'm sick and tired of seeing this same thread appear every three months.

So I've had a dig around and it took me a while, but I've found him.

He coaches Under 11's at a soccer academy somewhere in the Toronto area. He doesn't look fat, he may be unfit.

99 in the league, 114 altogether. I was surprised too.

But he was with us for seven seasons, and in three of those he played over 25 times, so it adds up, I guess.
