Lunch spots near Euston/Kings X 07:57 - Feb 4 with 1472 views | unbelievablue | Howdy. I need to take the Mrs for lunch tomorrow in the Euston/Kings X area but my knowledge of that part of London is restricted to pubs, unfortunately. Any good spots?

Lunch spots near Euston/Kings X on 07:59 - Feb 4 with 1452 views | glasso | Head behind Kings X station to Coal Drops Yard. You'll be spoilt for choice. Dishoom, Coal Office, German Gymnasium etc. Sons & Daughters for something lighter (owned by the old singer of Hope of the States, if you liked their music!), plus plenty of great places to drink. Just have a wander around there, it's a really nice spot now

Oh of course. Completely forgot that existed. Was being developed when I last worked in the area. Lovely, ta.

Lunch spots near Euston/Kings X on 08:16 - Feb 4 with 1393 views | BlueBoots | As mentioned, Coal Drop Yard if you're near Kings Cross, I'll throw in Drummond Street if you're near Euston (if you're in the mood for Indian food - grotty weather today, so I would be :^D) and if you don't fancy taking a chance, there are plenty of chain restaurants between the two stations...

Lunch spots near Euston/Kings X on 09:06 - Feb 4 with 1273 views | Steve_M | Yes, Coal Drops Yard is the place to start. One recommendation the other side of Euston for another time though is Honey & Co in Warren St: https://honeyandco.co.uk/ I really should try Honey & Smoke sometime too given it's just round the corner. Not sure if it was called Crystal 25 odd years ago but I'm pretty sure that was where I had my first ever donner kebab. Kings X was a very different place at the time.

That area has some brilliant restaurants. Both honey & co and honey & smoke are great. Can also recommend Clipstone which is nearby, it is the little brother of Michelin star Portland but has similar quality food at a lower price.

Ah ok, it's always looked good when I've walked past but I've never been in. DeMartino on Great Portland Street is good too.
