I'll start

Darwin Nunez will get less than 15 goals for Liverpool this season and will this season prem flop

....ten a penny and not worth spending any money on.

Players like Fabinho, Jorginho, Henderson and Kante aren't really any good at football.

Enduringly lovable, intelligent and tremendously exquisite.

Our squad is more than good enough to get out of Division 3 and we don’t need to sign any more players.

We have never had a decent player with the surname 'Edwards'.

Sito wasn't very good.

Danny Haynes was much underrates as a finisher. Apart from his pace, the rest of all game was a bit crap, though.

I can't stand the bloke but I reckon he'll do OK - no worse than Mane last season. Once he's had his arrogance and petulance hammered out of him by Klopp, Henderson and Milner and starts to become a bit more humble he'll do better.

I think we will go the entire season unbeaten in the league and win with a 20 point gap on 2nd place.

Why so negative? 100 points my ass.

There's 136 points available after we kindly allowed Bolton to take one - where on earth do you see us dropping 36 points from?!

The higher up the football pyramid you go, the more boring it becomes.

Lower or non league football is a more entertaining and full-filling day out.

Pablo counago most overrated player to put on the Ipswich blue and white.

Your footballing hot takes on 11:34 - Aug 16 with 1581 viewsTRUE_BLUE123

Cristiano Ronaldo isn't in the top 3 footballers of all time and the media only mention him there to create the rivalry with Messi who is so much better than him.

Douglas wasn't actually that bad, but just played in a bad system.

BOLD ONE-Mo salah is a good goal scorer but not a good footballer. Awful first touch, often very ineffective in games. Not for me.

Ronaldo would have been a much better player and scored more goals if he'd been bothered to stay on his feet.

Fat Ronaldo in his prime was easily the best Ronaldo.

Here's a few, not really sure if these constitute 'hot takes', more just stuff to argue about. I believe all of these to a greater or lesser degree:-

- ITFC's continuing presence in Division 3 is a disgrace.
- The only other clubs down here we should even acknowledge are Wednesday and Derby. The rest are all Dog and Duck standard.
- Gareth Southgate is a sensational fraud.
- Millwall are far more important to football than West Ham.
- Megaphone man behind the North Stand was a nuisance, and should've been arrested for a breach of the peace.
- Norwich only exist to have a rivalry with us.

I dont know. Coming through at Man united we was on course to be in the conversation, but when his role changed, he just became a good goal scorer (although not as good as Messi statistically).

The Ronaldo/Messi debate always comes down to who would you part money with to watch, and for me, in their peak it would always be Messi.

Although saying that, I've parted money to watch Jonathan Douglas, so I'm not really in a position to comment.

Think Southgate benefits massively from following managers who created an embarrassing media circus: El Tel, Sven, Fat Sam and the Wally with the Brolly. They have nothing on him.

They’ll work the boring angle to get rid of him. His lack of risk taking will be his downfall too. He was a calculated risk away from winning us the Euros.

- Neymar isn't all that. Couple of good seasons at Barca then spent his prime years in a farmers league for a team that largely wins the league by 15 points a season.

- Matthew Penney is one of, if not the worst left back I've seen in a town shirt for 30 years and has the upper body strength of an 8 week old kitten.

- Keanan Bennetts. Shocking (Said in Roy Keane accent).
