I've said it before and I'll say it again. Hurst and Cook have made a lot of people a bit weird about transfer windows. Some quiet upgrading and evolving of the squad is seen as a disaster by some. | |

I dunno, we've had an exceptional start all in all and oddly it seems to have been soured/missed by the narrow defeat.

Avoid a relegation fight? We have a good enough squad.
Consolidate in mid table? Still ok imo.
Play offs? We need another striker, two centre backs of good quality to cover for Woolfy and Burgess, and good competition for Burns on the right.
Top 2? No way we can bring in the quality frontline than was on display against us on Saturday.
Imo I think that we will hover between 6th to 10th. If we are within touching distance of the play offs roundabout Christmas, then we will see a repeat of Ashton’s recruitment masterclass of last January. | |
