Wouldnt have thought so as whittaker wont go cheap response to point of blue and not hype, yes rowe is holding out for a prem move, wonder if brentford might go for him if nusa doesn't sign or if olise goes to utd maybe cpfc could go for rowe [Post edited 29 Jan 22:57]

I'd have thought something like £20m would be enough for Plymouth to sell. I suppose they see him as one for the future rather than an immediate starter, who'd no doubt cost much more. | |

Inflation muddies the waters but Lazio have only forked out £20M+ on a handful of players in their history. Think you must have 1999-2001 Lazio in your mind when it comes to transfer spend. | | | |

Quite - I was surprised that there were a few folks on here in the summer who didn't think he was worthy of us chasing. He's obviously quality. Plymouth seem to have reached their ceiling, with respect, so you'd think clubs in various top flights would be queueing up. |  | | |

Is it really that surprising? He’s playing regular football, seems to be improving continuously and seems to be happy.
I’m more surprised that Swansea let him go - even more so, considering he played really well in L1 with Plymouth. | | | |

There were rumours which may or may not have had any substance that he might be one that we were looking at, and some were dismissive of his attributes. Who was dismissive of him? Really don't recall that, seemed to be one we universally thought would be a good signing if we could get him but seemed like he was set on a move to Plymouth. |  |
