Birmingham TV commentators today 20:55 - Feb 24 with 2044 viewshatch

Some quotes I noted down:

After the first goal “that was an unlucky deflected goal to concede at a time when Blues were having their best spell”

“Blues have had the better of it this second half”

“Birmingham have sprung out the trap second half and are giving Ipswich problems here, feels like momentum is changing”

After the 3rd Ipswich goal:

“A scoreline that unfairly reflects on Birmingham”
“I think it’s fair to say the scoreline flatters Ipswich”

Their commentary was dour and felt like propaganda to their fans watching elsewhere.

Town tv went down for me - so ended up watching it with the commentary you described

At points I genuinely thought they were watching a different game to me

To be fair even Town TV said it could go either way with about 20 mins of second half remaining.

Truly impaired.

They can have few complaints in truth

They will be a stubborn opponent for many this season, particularly under Mowbray though, he looks to have improved them

They looked quite dangerous on the counter and could definitely be oiled into an effective machine

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

They were right to an extent on the second half remarks, but otherwise fairly wide of the mark.

They had a little phase in the second half but were extremely fortunate to be 1 - 1 at the break

They're clearly no mugs, they started the season quite well under Eustace before the insanity of the Rooney appointment and have fluked a good replacement in Mowbray

You expect a bit of bias, I don't mind that. Overall though you've got to be honest and the amount of stats available to fans these days makes it impossible to pull the wool over people's eyes. Flashscore have it at 26 attempts to 11 and xG of 2.75 to 0.4.
