How Many Fecking Points?! 18:43 - Apr 2 with 1981 viewsLA_Tractor_Boy

I know, enjoy the journey and one game at a time etc.

But how many points will be enough? Surely we're not going to see.3 teams finish on 100+ points.

Probably 97 - 98 I would say

Absolute madness really

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Crazy to think, but 1 loss and we could miss out. Imagine only losing 6 games all season and finishing 3rd. Silly season.

I don’t think 97 will be enough for 2nd, with an inferior GD as well. It’s bonkers but I think we might need to win 4 of the last 6.

I've been looking at the run in. I just don't see where leicester or Leeds drop points.

Think our neighbours have fked it up by giving leicester confidence.
Leeds.. thought Hull might have stopped them and with Coventry doing their best to finish 7th I now doubt they can help.

I just couldn't guess where any drop points are happening.

105. Just to be sure.

Think that's what McKenna and his team will be aiming for.

Both have recently dropped points against similar or weaker sides.

Beating Norwich won't have helped Leicester's confidence much - Norwich are mentally weak sh!t-fodder - they've got tougher games to come against proper fighters.

Not even sure if 4 win from 6 will be enough. Sounds crazy. God I hope I am so wrong.

I think winning 4 is the absolute minimum we need, and even that might not be enough. There will be twists and turns galore, I’m sure. Can see Leicester going on a run with a bit of a siege mentality. Leeds are Leeds. We have the toughest run in. Beating the scum and having one of the other two dropping a point or two would be fecking massive.

Beat the scummers and I will be fairly confident of top 2. That's our biggest challenge left, mainly due to the derby angle, and I think a win will be huge for our confidence and mentality.

It's often the "lesser" teams which seem to cause Leeds a problem. A vigorous block is probably the best way to nullify their attacking threat, with the chance of snatching a goal on the break.

The higher-ranked teams try to play football* and often come off worst.

* Or, like us, don't have the option of going ultra-defensive.

If ever there’s a time to break our terrible abysmal record against them, Saturday would be THE time to do it. Bank the 3 pts and sit back and watch Leicester and Leeds have to go to work would be insanely satisfying.

Leeds and Leicester dropped points to Bristol City and Watford on Friday - every game is a potential banana skin at this point.

Regardless of the derby angle, they've won 9 and draw one of their last 10 home games and so far this season, only we and Leeds have achieved more points at home. It will be an extremely difficult match.

I still think its 100 or more for second.

It's insane, need Leics to carry on capitulating but tha win yesterday probably gives them some more more momentum.

I think this time of season will bring lots of different surprises etc. There's no easy games, other than perhaps those against the sides towards the middle of the table with little to play for

Don’t they both have to play Southampton yet too?

Southampton is Leicester's game in hand, and Leeds host them on the final day. Think Saints will lose both times although their ability to hold onto the ball for long spells might get the natives restless in the Midlands and have a negative effect on their team.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Leeds toughest on paper are Coventry and Boro away I would say. Maybe QPR if they're fighting for points. They're formidable at Elland Road, but I think the away games are most likely to see a slip.

Leicester have Millwall, Preston and Plymouth away, West Brom and Southampton wont be easy either, they're 2 very good sides as we well know.

We'll likely all drop some points, if we get 13 points from here and land on 100 I think it'll be enough.

They do. But that all depends on how southampton get on upto those games.

If out of the auto picture.. no way they play a first 11 in those games imo.

Saints won't have a chance of top 2 by then....but my Saints mate is adamant that they'll go strong v Leicester and Leeds in order to make a bit of a statement for the play off games
