South London Press say we're leading the chase for him.

Rangy number ten, possibly a more physical alternative to Chaplin in the 10 role? Burnley wanted him badly last summer.

Was great in 2022/23 but doesn't seem to have done as much this year. A year ago I'd have bitten your hand off for him but not so sure now. Good age still and good schooling and he's Dutch so would tick that box. Basically, I'm on the fence.

This season, victim of Millwall's dire season, 3 managers and being shunted out to the left flank by Harris.

Flemming behind Bradshaw was dynamite in 22/23.

Interesting. Certainly looks a talented player when I've seen him, classy footballer.

Plus he's Dutch. No brainer.

"he's Dutch"

This is the important bit.

Would be happy with this. Every time I've seen Millwall play, he has really stood out.

Does McKenna want him? Does McKenna know exactly what we need?

I know the answer is yes to the second question, so if it is yes to the first then I am in.

Would be happy with that - very technical player although he didn’t have a great season did he

We tend to finish in the top two with a couple of Dutchmen in the side so yes please.

Means only one more needed to guarantee a Champions League spot.

Plus if Zian grew a tash he'd look a bit like Frans, perhaps we could stipulate that in the contract.

I have just read that Brighton, Everton, Inter and Wolfsburg are chasing 23 year old right back Yukinari Sugawara from Alkmaar for a rumoured 6 mill. Maybe this could count as the second given the Alkmaar link, even though he is Japanese.

On a serious note, Japanese footballers would fit into the McKenna system well. These are the sort of players we could be looking at, 4 goals and 6 assists in Dutch League, not quite Leif numbers but would offer similar style on the right.

He needs a "Dutch" mate too. That's where we went wrong last time, we only had Reuser

Yukinari Sugawara is a great shout and a talent too.

Would be a great signing at rb.

Interestingly Zain apparently has Malaysian roots. No idea if true but comments sections are flooded with Malaysian interest.

Elkan, Ed and Zain to break the Internet!

Was funny looking at our promotion post on Instagram and the majority of comments were about Baggott or Al-Hamadi.

You can add Al-hamadi to that list too, the Harry Kane of Iraq.

We would need a bigger social media department!

As a side note. Really hope Elkan can make a big impression during preseason.

Also, a good Japanese player would be good for marketing ITFC in Japan.

Not quite the Harry Kane of Iraq, Al-Hamadi won the second place cup.

I mentioned before our game at home when we won 3-0 to be honest he did nothing before Xmas Millwall fans were moaning about him wondering where the player from the yr before had gone I haven't seen enough to judge so am also on the fence.

Fortuna Sittard fans are very complimentary about him - reckons he's a real 100%er and kept them in the top division almost singlehandedly - a couple of seasons back
