I’d never heard if him tbh. But I listen to a Paul McCartney podcast and his name comes up all the time as somebody who is heavily influenced by Macca so really should give him a listen.

I’d never heard if him tbh. But I listen to a Paul McCartney podcast and his name comes up all the time as somebody who is heavily influenced by Macca so really should give him a listen. [Post edited 18 May 6:51]

It’s quite bleak (a huge understatement). But the songs slowly work their way into your head even if they don’t seem like they will on first listen. Between the Bars is a great introduction song I think.

I’d never heard of him till a couple of months ago until I heard him round a friend’s house and have since bought up his back catalogue.

If you like Elliot I recommend checking out Gravenhurst who is very similar in style and also died way too soon.

Yes! Gravenhurst are fantastic. Velvet Cell has been a main stay for me for years.
